  1. The real Twilight Zone My favorite was DonatelloMigiatchi's!
  2. They both have colorful toppings? You know... clothes... pepperoni and green peppers Edit: Something tells me I already lost.
  3. Dunno. But something in my head keeps screaming "Florida" and "Piers" and "Video." Am I somewhat close? Actually you are VERY VERY close.... JUST KIDDING!!!! Couldn't be further away from what you're looking for! X'D You almost had me until I scrolled down! Oh well! They shouldn't have anything in common. I'm pretty lost!
  4. Doesn't everything have to do with a video involving Piers??? Dunno. But something in my head keeps screaming "Florida" and "Piers" and "Video." Am I somewhat close?
  5. Does it have to do with a video that involves Piers?
  6. Does it have to do with a pizza place?
  7. Does it involve an animal in any way, shape, or form?
  8. Best. Indoor. Coaster. Ever. (That I've ever been on.)
  9. ^^"But I'll need something soft to land on when I tip over from my beer."
  10. OMG! I laughed hard at that photo, then I looked at the first few comments and cried laughing! So tragic!
  11. 1. The mascot truly scares me. 2. I knew most Carnival cruises were 'inadequate,' but this is just ridiculous! 3. A quote from Jack Sparrow: "It's not the destination so much as the journey, they say." Couldn't agree more. As long as the ship is still floating, please keep updating!
  12. ^Wow, amazing report and photos. It states what happened without turning into a one-sided argument, and the photos are some of what i have never seen before. Edit: I've also never heard of the Governor wanting to oust Harold Workman until I read that post. That's interesting. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20120221/BUSINESS/302210060?odyssey=mod%7Cmostcom
  13. That's pretty much the only reason why Carousel of progress is still there, lol! Parents take a nap while the kids watch a show about what the future holds in the year 2006. If you need me, I'll be with the crowd of jealousness that continues to watch for updates.
  14. If the Koch family tries to atempt to take out T2 (which I highly doubt) it would cause controversy here in the Louisville area. Everyone here wants the park to reopen but we all want a new coaster to replace chang. Were still agravated by the fact that chang is gone and were sick of these waterpark exspansions as well. I guess I'm part of the minority. I wouldn't say the water park expansions are necessarily a bad thing, summers here can get to sweltering temperatures and I bet the same might be said for this summer due how much snow we've gotten. Though, I would agree that park should have been due for a new dry ride a while ago. Mega Wedgie is nice, but it is ProSlide's smaller and more tame version of their cannon bowls (The bullet bowl). A flat ride could have better sufficed.
  15. It feels wrong for me to question this, but did they even announce that they were going to open the entire park? For all we know, they clean the park this year, open the park the next, then fix TT and Mile High Falls afterwards. $20 mil is a lot of money, but how much of it is going into caring for a coaster that has had weeds growing up it since 2008? (If this sounds stupid in any way, then it is because I have no sense in how much $20 million can cover in an amusement park.)
  16. Thunder Run needs a rehab. I still remember my last ride back in 2009 very clearly. Jerked me stupid. Luckily the seats are very soft, but it is still uncomfortably rough.
  17. ^Seeing that KI is removing The Crypt, I couldn't agree more. ^^That depends. Do the new Vekoma SLC trains absorb the shock and jerking, or is it just comfortable new seats?
  18. Nah, probably a place for the workers to go inside to avoid weather and see the blueprints. My guess, pieces won't show up until some supports get erected.
  19. That's two good news I've heard all week. My favorite amusement park operating my home park, and the bridge that led fastest to Santa Claus, Indiana, from Louisville was reopened early. Can. Not. Wait! Oh, and this: 3x the win!
  20. ^^When you look at it that way, a name change does seem necessary.
  21. Great report. That is one very big wooden coaster, and that is a beautiful park!
  22. I wouldn't mind the name change. Bluegrass Boardwalk isn't a bad name, even though I don't recollect Louisville having any actual boardwalks.. If they do take over the park, and if they make season passes available for both Holiday World and "Bluegrass Boardwalk," I'm gonna flip!
  23. ^ There are vents for the water to escape at the bottom, and mists of water spray the tunnel on the upward section.
