  1. I vote Stand-Up. Great work on the park, as usual.
  2. ^ Ha ha. Glad I came up with good names for my water rides before I let you see them. Excellent work on the park, SoCalCoasters. Keep it up!
  3. Welcome to TPR! It seems you've put quite a lot of time into each section of your park. I like the lighthouse in your first post a lot, and the story behind everything. None taken, djbrcace1234, as it seems that I'm somewhat good at CS... I would suggest that you not only use that metal block for roofs, as it is kind of an eyesore. Maybe try the Mechanical Themed base block instead? Overall, good work, and I hope to see more updates soon!
  4. ^^ I'm running Windows2000. Everything else works fine, zero-clearancing and changing the weather. I don't know if I have XP sitting around somewhere.
  5. ^Thank you! I tried merging with the tutorial from Coasterforce, but every time I hit apply, then cancel for the last time, 8cars shuts down on me. I tried all 3 that came in the pack on page 13. What am I doing wrong?
  6. I really like your buildings this time around. Good job.
  7. Hello again! I worked on X3's plaza a bit, mostly foliage. I really like what I've done with the area, but let me know what you think. Enjoy!!! X3 Plaza Overview.bmp Ta Da!
  8. I just downloaded the 8cars trainer pack from page 13, and I don't know how to start using it. I opened the zip, and created shortcuts to all 3 versions on my desktop, but I don't know what to do now. Thanks guys!
  9. ^ You can hit control S and take a screen-shot. The shot can then be found in your RCT2 folder in your Documents. For future reference, please post any questions you have in the Help Thread. Good job with the park, braztaz. I suggest to build your buildings in varying footprints, though. It's not good to have a bunch of 3x4 or 2x3 buildings in a row. Keep up the good work.
  10. Good job with the park so far, however I feel some improvements could be made. Don't listen if you don't want to, after all it is your park. Keep up the good work, and here's what I would do: 1. Delete the trees from underneath of Whitlock Whizzer's station. It makes the station seem un-realistic. 2. Try to make your roofs more interesting by breaking it up with different angles, such as: X3 Building Highlight.bmp The change in angle helps the building look interesting, in my opinion.
  11. I fixed my games problem. Awhile ago I posted in the lost ObjData Thread, because I needed some scenery to open one of nin's parks. I gave up on that after the 3rd or 4th object, and I deleted the park. I left the scenery items, though, in case I ever wanted to use them. More recently, I downloaded 2 older parks from NE, and only one of them opened. When I tried to open the other one, the flashing loading bar popped up. So, I deleted the scenery that I had previously downloaded as well as the 2 parks, and viola! RCT2 is working again!
  12. Nope. I read all of my beloved Matthew Reilly books, so not for awhile. Have you ever swallowed a fly?
  13. ^Me too! I worked on a bunch of little spots around the park, and this is what I have for you guys.Enjoy! X3 Plaza 1.bmp A sneak peak at X3's plaza. X3 Stats.bmp Here are it's stats(they've changed since I bragged about them, I re-built the layout a bit). Entrance 1.bmp A new cluster of buildings in the middle of the Entrance Plaza. Rock-Slide Runner Foliage.bmp Rock-Slide Runner's foliage has improved since your last picture of it. Python Teaser 2.bmp Another teaser of Crack-Axle Canyon's only coaster. Crystal Caverns Teaser 1.bmp A teaser for the new ride in Crack-Axle Canyon.
  14. Well, might as well post one more picture before I send it off to get supported. I tweaked the Toy Shoppe building a bit(by the way, those flower boxes are supposed to be toy boxes), and added a completely new one. Enjoy! Vortex Archy.bmp I added more stonework to the Toy Shoppe. The yellow building is new.
  15. Do Ya- Electric Light Orchestra
  16. My game is working again!!!! If you recall, a while ago I asked for some scenery(in the Lost Objdata thread) that I was missing to open nin's unfinished Six Flags park. I guess it caused problems with the older parks that I downloaded recently. I just deleted them, started up the game, and bingo! I will have an update up soon!
  17. Sorry to bring up Modern Warfare 2 again, because I know that a lot of people are past it at this point. However, I am not. I still enjoy running around with a Spas. The Resurgence Package came out for PS3 today, and I was wondering if it is worth downloading. I've heard that Strike and Trailer Park are pretty fun, but I'm really looking forward to Carnival(and 2x experience for a week!) Any thoughts? Oh, and I've picked up Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time again. I thoroughly enjoy it, as I've been with the series since the beginning.
  18. New Coaster for 2011! Just kidding. Cedar Fair should hire those Saudi Arabians to make their island bigger. Then, they could build all the coasters they want. I don't know anything about Mantis' trim, though.
  19. ^ Jazz is awesome. Last spring, I went to a few minor concerts at a library, Sachal Vasandani was among them. I also saw Buddy Guy at a more expensive venue. Last night I went to a bar in a hotel with my dad to see Micheal Allman and T.C. Ridge, with South of Georgia. Micheal Allman is Gregg Allman's oldest son, if you didn't know. The show was really cool, T.C. walked around the audience and/or stood on top of tables while he sang. Micheal performed songs from his album Hard Labor Creek, including What's the World Coming To and If Dreams Were Money. Pretty Awesome. I heard that he was coming back later this summer to a larger venue, and I plan on going to that show, too.
  20. I've got a small problem. I downloaded 2 things from NE, Basics of My Brain by cbass and Nitro by Phatage. I opened Basics of My Brain and took a look around at everything just fine, but when I went to load Nitro, the flashing loading bar came up, and I had to restart my computer. I've already deleted both from my files and from the saved games folder under RCT2, but the game still won't start. Any ideas? Thanks.
  21. Sorry for the double-post, I hit submit instead of preview. I wasn't that fond of it at first, but the look of the cars smoothly rolling around that over bank and into the brake run has changed my opinion. The decided name for the Mining area was Crack-Axle Canyon, suggested by Fat-G. I was a fool. I was looking at the park makers on NE, and found a design of Nitro. I decided to download it, and when I tried to open it, the flashing loading bar showed up instead. I'm going to post this in the help thread, so please don't give suggestions here, just post in the Help Thread. Thanks, and I'll try to have the next update up as soon as I can.

  23. ^Agreed. While this style was never my favorite, it does look like good ncso work. I would suggest removing the trees from underneath the Virginia Reel, as it would make it just a little more realistic. How fast does that log flume get up to? I've never built one that high.
  24. #1 was Wild Mouse at Hershey Park # 25 was Thunderhead at Dollywood I need to ride more coasters!
