  1. I'm really glad you posted the POV, because i don't have NL. It looks great!
  2. De ja Vu? I don't keep up with real Six Flags affairs that much. Or batman and Robin, The Chiller? I don't know.
  3. ^ Of course, in due time. Probably when the supports are done. Do you guys think I should re-build the station to the coaster, or re-build a section so that there is a newer area to support it? I was thinking since almost all the buildings are done, I could just re-build the station and have the coaster built in the late 70's, early 80's. I want to know what you guys think before I do anything drastic. Anyway, on to the pics! Emporium.bmp Emporium, Restaurant, 2 smaller buildings. Emporium 2.bmp From another angle.
  4. This looks too good for a Six Flags park! Great Job with the GCI, although, if your going to put footers on the ride, put them on the whole ride. I mean beneath every support. I know it's more work, but I think it's worth it. Just my thoughts, though.
  5. I think it looks great, but maybe if you banked those curves it would look better? I know this would mean reconstructing that whole little area, but if it is a mini-mine train, I think it should be more on the gentler side of the intensity spectrum. What are it's ratings, by the way. If everything is perfectly fine, then just forget this post, I was trying to make your coaster less intense, if that makes sense.
  6. The coaster was supposed to be built in 2001, so I think the later supports would be better. If that means replacing the connected supports at the pre-drop with box supports, I think it would be worth it. I 'm not sure if we could find a way to connect the big Helix like Viper's turnaround, but it's probably worth a try. Thank you for your constructive feedback, after all, that is why I post. And coasterfreak, don't worry about it, it's your project too!
  7. I hope it's an Intamin Woody with an insane first drop. About the transfer track, when the trains transfer, why are they not protected from the elements? Or is that one of the safety issues with the ride. If not, a nice building or cover over your transfer track sections would make it seem more realistic, in my opinion.
  8. ^^^ For some reason, that's not a surprise.I think your title gave it away.
  9. It all looks very good, except that the Schwarzkopf doesn't have the long line of brakes before the loop. I would add 8-10 spaces of brakes between the station and the loop, and that would make it 10x better. Just what I would do, though.
  10. Correct. That was the way it was supposed to be, anyway. I kind of just kept building towards the coaster, and didn't really build *anything* new, except for the coaster. I'm considering changing the station to a classic style one, and then the whole park matches. I hope it wins Design, too!
  11. Happy Birthday Snoopy! How long will it be until the actual announcement, though? I might not get a chance to go next year, but I'd still really like to know. I went twice this year, in the past 2 weeks. Didn't get the chance to ride STR, but I rode just about everything else.
  12. I have to chop it up because there is a thick rind/shell on the outside, that is not delightful to munch on.
  13. ^ Yes it was. I would keep it blue, but one already released has the same color scheme as well. I don't want to appear as though I stole the idea for the ride. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Park Completion: 50% I only got to play 2-3 game years, so not much got done today, except 2 buildings and a really glitchy fountain. Glitchy Fountain.bmp Glitchy fountain, and Cat's Cafe. New and Old.bmp New building on the left. Changed the color of the windows on the building to the right. Overview 1.bmp Overview of the entire park.
  14. As long as the Arrow suspended stays, I'm fine with it. A large coaster must be coming, if they had to clear one out of the way, though. Stand-Up! Stand-Up!
  15. Six Flags seems to have a lot of empty parking lots( until they get turned into Medusa clones). I like the catwalk on the Splash Boats. The supports seem a bit weak, though. Try adding cross-beams into them, that should thicken them up.
  16. ^ Your favorite word has to be terraform, lol. I think the park looks good so far.
  17. These are awesome. I was going to make a model of Apollo's Chariot, but it was kind of a lot of coaster. Good job, I hope to see a Raptor or a Millennium Force rec.
  18. Epcot is sooo epic. Nice pictures of Morocco, and I'm looking forward to France!
  19. The person who lost their goggles in a pool probably shouldn't have gone looking for them in the pools pipe system. That's just common sense. A good percentage of these were caused by actions that are not permitted in amusement parks, and probably wouldn't have happened if they listened by the rules, or their gut instinct.
  20. Overview next update, so you won't be waiting long.
  21. I went to the West Side Market yesterday, and bought me some sugar cane. Can't wait to chop it up and suck out it's sweet juices. That's what she said.
  22. I use to, I matured, now I'm on to the Arts page. Have you ever eaten raw sugar cane?
  23. If you download Geewhzz's bench from, I think 2006, it includes the entire tab. Maybe ask dmaxsba for it in the Lost Objdata Thread, I'm sure he has it.
  24. Good start for a first park. I would recommend a few things, though. Don't build coasters with track that touch the ground, as it makes for an unrealistic look. This is because the track laying on the ground has no supports to hold it up. Mix up your trees and foliage a bit. When I play without custom scenery, I mainly use trees that cover the full tile. By this I mean that they pretty much take up the whole square they're built on. I like doing this so that when I fill the area around the trees with shrubs, the shrubs seem to be right next to the trees, and don't have a gap between them. Use ground textures beneath your paths! This makes for a more full and pleasant look. Try to add nice-looking fences to your paths, mainly because real parks do so that it's clear where the guests shouldn't be. Try to make the stations for your coasters at least 3-4 tiles wide, it makes for a more realistic station. The red box that appears after you take a picture can be removed by clicking on it, or by waiting for it to disappear. One more thing, when you build a shop or food stall, it takes up the whole tile until 8 spaces up, including walls. So if you want to build a buffet building, you will have to make sure your walls are on the other side of the tile and your roofs are 8 spaces up. Please let me know if any of this doesn't make sense, and I hope I helped!
