  1. I would bring a backpack, it's easier to dump the candy in there than carry it in the bags provided. Second parade is less busy like you said. Get candy whenever there is no line, don't even try the first hour it's always busy then and by the end of the night you can just walk around and around and get a ton with no wait. We waited less than 5min for Halloween Mickey at town square, the lines for the other more 'rare' characters were longer than I was willing to wait. Elvis Stitch, Pooh, etc. You'll see alice and mad hatter a lot but I think they're the same as during the day. I didn't see any amazing stand out food items, but people seem to be talking about the weird corn thing. Don't forget to do some of the fun PhotoPass offerings. The lantern near Haunted Mansion is my favorite.
  2. Park is already reopen. They even got permission to reopen the coaster but are having another agency double check just to be super safe.
  3. I think it’s just a bad translation. They’re not permanently closing. Here’s from their website today:
  4. "Through the night, the police could say little at the time of the accident and further investigations have been unable to confirm the cause of the accident so far. It is unknown whether it was due to a technical fault, ride negligence, or fatal carelessness. There is also speculation around whether the woman’s death was due to her injuries or a natural cause like a heart attack, as reported by welt.de" Wait...so did she fall out of the ride or have a heart attack? Hopefully we get more info soon.
  5. ^It's a good solid Disney coaster, but we all know Disney isn't going to build the type of roller coasters that are going to get enthusiasts talking. It's a wonderful addition to Epcot and I like it a little more every time I ride it. Much better than Rock n Roller Coaster...it's a lot like Space Fantasy at Universal Japan.
  6. ^When we rode the hamster wheel thing indoors, at a trade show, with a new model, I remember squeezing my head in those restraints and thinking how gross this would be at an actual real park!
  7. ^Team Europa by a landslide! Although Phantasialand is certainly going in a direction that leads me to believe they're making a play for Europa's spot.
  8. I wouldn't worry about getting on it. That's one of the reasons there aren't pages of info. It's not like Rise of hte Resistance, most people can get on it with minimal hassle.
  9. Did I tell you that KT looked up the Slush company and did get confirmation that Flamingo was "Strawberry Pineapple". We couldn't place the flavor but once we heard that it makes sense.
  10. ^Yeah but Mach tower is a dumb ride and no one really cares if it's down. FF is actually a really awesome ride that's sad to see closed!!!
  11. You know you love me and my amazing shopping influence!!! Also, that otter dressed like a pirate joined us on the rest of the trip and now has a prominent spot in our room. Damn, now I really miss Europa.
  12. Great TR from a kind of out of the way park! Love the photos of coasters with an active volcano behind them!
  13. I can vouch for the 'avoid the KD exit stuff'. We like the Hampton Inn Ashland. Bonus points for a ton of food options right around it. Check out Pepicelli's Pizza, it's a local place that's really good.
  14. It should have been "an epic battle between The Wolf Man, Dracula, The Mummy, and Brendan Fraser".
  15. I'm glad to see the McDonalds and Olive Garden are still in business! I did hear that the Famous Dave's closed before covid. Great report!
  16. Have they moved from SheiKra to IG or do we now have warring factions of wasps at BGT?!!?
  17. ^So great to have you post again and a TR from a park we don't get to see this often! Can't wait to see more!
  18. ^I know right?! It was actually pretty cool of SeaWorld to do. There was a covid rule that the events had to be outdoors and they stepped up and gave a decent price to many of the local schools so they could still have the dance.
  19. ^I will say that last year the way they ran the event they were able to open up a second section of the park for private events and run both simultaneously. Kristen had her homecoming dance in the Antarctica area with Kraken included while Howl o Scream was going on on the other side of the park!
