  2. ^Says the 14 year old! I just found the use of the word sexy 5 times to be a bit excessive!
  3. More fun with the Ropers: We don't like Roller Coasters!

    hi

Hello Newbie! Welcome and have fun! Let us know if there's anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.
  6. It will take you 45min - 1hr to get there, 1 hour at the park, 45min-1hr back to the good parks!
  7. Yes we'll supply the footage. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to put it all together. I don't really want totally random footage. So start listing some theme ideas...here are some I came up with: -New for 2005 -Launched Coasters -One Park -One Area
  8. Keep in mind that Universal changes the price of their Express passes. During the busy season expect to pay $35/per person/per park! Still worth it though if you have to go during that time of year! As for BGT, they almost NEVER open gates early.
  9. Do you think various clips is the right way to go? Or do we keep it to one park or theme? Should it have people in it? I agree that raw clips should be about 5 - 7 minutes worth and final product should be 2 - 3 minutes. Keep adding suggestions, I think I'll move this to the general board as well.
  10. Some of the attractions, during off season, aren't too much more than our wedding. I believe that the Great Movie Ride one (where they would move to a different room for each course) was around 25K. You save money in that you need pretty much NO Decorations!
  11. I agree! Let's do this! First off I'm going to need some suggestions from you guys on what parks you think would be a good idea. Think for everyone...not just you. Also think about how much raw footage we should provide, and how long the segments should be. Since this will be an 'internet only' contest this time, think smaller. Let's roll with it!
  12. I'm so happy to hear this!!! Sorry about the DVDs but at least those are pretty easily replaceable!
  13. In 2002, Colossos at Heide Park In 2005, Goliath at WW I think I was spoiled by Balder for the Intamin Woodies, plus Goliath at WW was running amazing!!!
  14. Someone used it in the video contest and I totally fell in love with it!
  15. Thanks for the photos! I seriously think you have killed off everyone around you since there are never any people in your pictures!
  16. Awww, I love Disaster Transport!!!
  17. Someone on my Disney Brides board was doing their wedding inside the Great Movie Ride...although they split about 6 weeks before the wedding!!!! People have also gotten married at other attractions: Living Seas, Tower of Terror, etc. As long as you have $$$ you can do whatever you want!
  18. ^Damn Tom! How'd you get through that car ride?!?!?
  19. ^GAG ME!!!!
  20. One thing I forgot to mention... Don't be scared off by price or 'sticker shock'. You can do really beautiful weddings there from 3K - 1Million!
  21. Ok here goes... Feel free to IM me at emeridithw2 because sometimes it's easier to talk all of this out. 75 People, Custom Wedding Email, PM, or IM me this, as I don't want to get to detailed on the site. I still have my disney budget documents for most everything that I'd be happy to share with you (floral, photo, food, etc.) Check to Disney was under 20K, with everything all said and done (dress, tux, airfare, hotel, gift baskets, tips, etc.) right around 20K. We were supposed to book something like 150 total room nights. When I explained that it was a mostly Florida people wedding and convincing everyone to stay at Disney would be hard they bumped it down to 75..We still exceeded that as everyone ended up wanting to stay at Disney! We checked into Boardwalk on a Wednesday for the Saturday Wedding, we checked out the next Wednesday for a cheaper place. We selected 3 hotels; one value, one moderate, one deluxe. Most of our guests stayed at Boardwalk on the Fri and Sat nights of the wedding, Some people stayed at the All-Star Movies, no one chose the Moderate. You do not HAVE to, but if you can I highly recommend it because you get to taste all kinds of food and cakes!!! We did most everything over email, and then met up with our planner on that Thursday before the wedding to finalize stuff. I actually was plesantly surprised, it seemed that Disney was really upfront with EVERYTHING, and there were no Disney hidden costs or charges. As for budgeting on your own, just be careful with gifts for your guests, tips, honeymoon spending, etc. We picked the pretty basic package. There were two photographers, they met us at the Wedding Pavilion for pre-ceremony stuff, then they did the ceremony, group and nice shots afterward, then the reception. I believe it was the 6 hour package, as opposed to the longer ones where they shoot you getting ready and stuff like that. We then got the amazing 'scrapbook' style album and it's great!!! We still have not bothered to order any additional pix from them. They were great and had all the photos online a few weeks later for everyone to look at and order if they wanted. We also opted for the 'Magic Kingdom Bridal Session'. The 4am thing where you go to the MK to get AMAZING pix of you all dolled up in front of the castle and other cool places. We did not hire anyone...we did it ourselves with the help of friends and family. Here is the link to where you can see two of the 'wedding' videos we did: http://www.themeparkreview.com/videos/video.htm Just look at the wedding one, and the orlando parks one. Here's the crazy thing, I wouldn't have changed A THING!!! Everything was perfect, and Disney did an amazing job! We seriously looked at 3 other options, and I am so happy everyday that we decided on Disney!! It was perfect! Other random notes: - Characters are a must! We had Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Minnie - Do gifts for guests, table settings, little knickknacks on your own, disney charges too much. - Don't spend too much on flowers - Don't spend too much decorating reception room - Food is amazing! - Don't splurge for the Glass Coach - Don't get dessert, you'll have cake! Let me know how else I can help!
  22. ^You're probably used to California's crazy earthquake codes!
