  1. On one hand I'm bummed I was too sick to go, on the other...doesn't look like I missed much!!!
  2. It means I'm smarter than him!!!!
  3. The guy who wrote this article is my new best friend!!!! It pretty much sums up this season! From ew.com
  4. They might not change the name of the ride quite yet. I mean think about all of the looney toons stuff at the parks, but when was the last time you saw the Looney Toons in a Six Flags Commercial?
  5. We figured that out like 37 pages ago! Let's hope we're all right.
  6. Links should work again! They changed all of the pages from "Speed" to "New" as NemesisStorm pointed out! I do wonder if the ride is named Speed, or if now they're looking to change it!
  7. ^Keep in mind Shockwave is NOT B&M. If we had listed ALL standing coasters I might have changed my vote!
  8. I've been riding the ride for 5 years, I do not ever remember fire effects. Anyone else?
  9. Everyone should be updated!
  10. ^^At our wedding we had two tables of "theme park junkies" and five tables of "general public". I think the normal people got an even bigger kick out of it!!! Seriously, since they're not in parks all the time they got kind of the 'A-List' treatment and had a great time. Most of them also commented that the food, atmosphere, decor was much better than you'd find at some normal hall or wedding place. ^Little freebies here and there. An onride photo, glass of wine, pins. Our own car on Test Track, own log on Splash Mountain. People just seem nicer to you!
  11. For the record: Chang Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Georgia Scorcher Six Flags Over Georgia Iron Wolf Six Flags Great America Mantis Cedar Point Riddler's Revenge Six Flags Magic Mountain Vortex Paramount's Carowinds Vortex Paramount's Great America Just so you know what to base your answer on! For myself, I think my favorite B&M Standup is Scorcher.
  12. Wow, good to see this thing finally showing itself! I knew that Rapids area was good for something! Apparently it's good for storing stuff!
  13. None that I could find yet. Our resident Japan Expert is actually in Singapore for a bit, but he says he will take a photo update of the construction in about 2 weeks. Meanwhile check the Fuji-Q website and Japanese News to see if anything has been announced.
  14. Wow, love the ankle photos!!!!
  15. Wow, it really worries me that you said that the ride was Rough!!!! It was always one of the smoothest Wooden coasters and I was always surprised by that given the designer and location. Ug, I wonder if the weather finally has taken it's tole, or maybe they just haven't given it a good rehab lately. Scary, it's in my top 10 wood so I hope it's okay!
  16. If you are 16 as of June 9th, 2005 you do not need a parent or guardian, but will need a bunch of forms filled out. Also keep in mind that at this point you will be on the waitlist. There is a good chance you will get in, but don't buy your airfare just yet!
  17. Very Interesting. I've always said that you wouldn't believe it, but a lot of what we consider the 'crappy Six Flags Parks' make all the money, while a really top notch Six Flags Park like Fiesta could be gone soon. I'd be sad to see it go, but I wouldn't mind having Poltergeist or Road Runner at SFMM!
  18. ^Good Job Wes! Wes guessed it! Guess the rest of you are out of luck!
  19. Awww that's great! So is this another Shamu or will they name it once they know the sex? Sea World really does seem to do the balance of show/educate/conserve really well. Will you have any say in the naming with your internship because I hear the name RatTums is gaining in popularity! Hope to see you out there at some point!
  20. You can meet up with us for sure! No ERT or 'park perks' but we'd be happy to meet up with you during the day. We will post of final schedule closer to the trip.
  21. That date has historically been Hallelujah Jubilee, a Christian Music Event. That's the reason for the late closing, not Tatsu.
  22. ^Sounds great! Your stupid TR's have convinced Robb and I to head out your way sometime in the next couple of years. So you better be there to give us the grand tour!
  23. With Dollywood's track record, it should be open and running flawlessly by July!
  24. Connor, if your deposit was received today you would be 2nd on the wait list. I have a feeling that 2 or 3 people could drop around our upcoming February 1st deadline, so you have a chance. Just remember that participants 15 or under must either have a parent or temporary guardian with them.
