Hey all, I spent a nice Labor Day weekend with my family in Florida and while I'm sitting now in the Airport for my flight which is over 2 hours delayed due to weather, I'll post some cute photos my dad gave me that prove my theme park craziness started a LONG time ago! My family has more pictures (have to be converted from slides and stuff) so I hope to have more in the future! Check me out on one of our visits to Boardwalk and Baseball! Also check out the Arrow Shuttle Loop on the right side! Look how brave I am on the kiddie parachutes! Still at Cypress Gardens! Cypress Gardens, back when it had no credits! Hmm, I have a feeling it could end up like that again soon! Now over to the good Disney Parks! Old school Living Seas! Here's me at about 3 years old in front of Disneylands Small World. It was about 20 minutes later that my parents dragged me onto Matterhorn...I was not amused at the time.

Personally I was hoping to ride in a giant chicken, but I guess we'll just have to wait to see what's under the tarp. -

There is not a train that goes directly to the park. There are two stations nearby. One about 15 minutes, and one about 20 minutes by taxi/bus. Then you can either take a bus or taxi to the park. -
Stupid having to wait till October while Robb makes fun of me cause he doesn't like the show!!!!

Yeah, those are coupons given to various businesses to give to their workers. They are valid and you don't need any employee stuff with them.
-
I'm pretty sure Coke Cans and Taco Bell coupons also expire at the end of October. I would call the park and ask. They have a sheet that lists all of the promotions that they offer for the entire year and when they will be offered. Of course you'll have to find someone intelligent enough to be able to read and find that sheet when you call, but it could help! Otherwise you'll just have to wait till closer to your visit date and see what they're offering. Also, you're probably going to want to buy some Fastlanes (skip the line passes) since this is your first visit and you want to ride everything.

There's an Italian Restaurant in the Colosseo Hotel at Europa that's really good! They served us meat in boats on fire!! Oh and they had unlimited bread!

^I think it's funny that... A) You think someone would either give you their child, or that I would help! B) You think you're going on a trip with us! -
Great Bachelor Party Adam! It's all about personalizing it! Heck, Robb and the boys went to Disneyquest (and had a great time!)

10 Days in Japan - what not to miss?

^Fuji Q. One of the parks with the best walkthroughs and dark rides was Mitsui Greenland, but that was pretty far south. Seriously though, if you have time (and you should!) don't be afraid to go into any dark ride! Chances are, it will be worth your time! -

Two Things - GCI uses their own Millennium Flyer Trains, not evil Gerstaulers (although I never had a problem with them). I thought the Boomerang was slightly smoother than most, but I HATED the Mag Breaks!!! They made all of us feel really queasy when you went through them backwards. Almost as if they're too strong and they slow you too fast or something. I didn't take a second ride, the stupid boys did, and felt even sicker the 2nd time! -
Nice pix! I really hope they're just refurbing Sandstorm. BGT has a nasty habit of removing flats.

^Good question! I actually preferred Rumbler, as I felt it had more airtime. I could see some people preferring Thunderbird though as it had more turns and stuff. Anyways, it's good to see the GCI guys putting some airtime in their rides! -
I Tivo'd it. If I'm super bored today I'll fastforward through it.

Yeah, but Dave can't always travel with that through the airport so here's his normal attachment: He has an itch. -

^^^Check the chat transcript for hotel details. As for the Midwest Trip filling, take what I said last night, and add another 5 people that have signed up since then. Oh, and I haven't gotten the mail yet, checks just started arriving yesterday to those who got them in the mail the first 2 days! -
