Pretty sure it's Chimera from Chapultepec Park in Mexico City! Who would have ever guessed that a park that was super closed and bankrupt would reopen, and save a coaster we all assumed was doomed!!!! 2020 baby! -
AMEN!!! It's so dumb to me that a company (Premier) which made headlines and won awards and praise from all of us for taking OTSR's OFF of rides that didn't need it is now needlessly putting OTSR's back on rides that don't need them!!! UGH!!! AND THERE IS NOTHING COMFORTABLE ABOUT COMFORT COLLARS. Sorry, I'm just really passionate about this and I think it's crap.

^Have you seen humanity lately?! A thinking, smart park would fail pretty quickly. -

I think we just need to give Disney the benefit of the doubt here that they'll pull it off and it will be a great ride for the park. I mean, didn't everyone FREAK THE EFF OUT when they announced the theme change for ToT at DCA and now everyone loves that version!?! -

There's a whole segment at the Epcot Preview Center about how some alien dudes are excited to be part of 'world showcase' at epcot with the first 'off planet' world or some crap like that. Sorry, never saw the movies so don't know exactly what's what but it's Disney so they found a way to tie it in in a cute fashion. -

^That's what a lot of us are hoping for at this point, but I could see them pushing to even summer/fall of 2022 with everything now. Remember how they used to celebrate birthdays/anniversaries for like 12 months on either side of the actual date, I feel like they're now going to push that to like 18 months AFTER the big dates! -
^I also think they're banking on the idea that people really want to drive their car through a theme park. I mean, to be honest, it is kind of fun and cool the first couple of times you can drive around. Then it very much becomes just part of your normal work day when you do it there as an employee.

I actually agree with many of you talking about how the RMC's are all very similar. And that's fine. There's nothing wrong with building a ton of very similar kick ass rides when most people who ride one will never even know of the other ones. I've been comparing them to the B&M inverts of the 90's. They're all awesome, intense rides, but they all have the same elements just in slightly different orders. I would also love to see some more unique elements in the future from them, but for now I'm quite content with their offerings.

Oh man, I didn't realize they got rid of the Sky Ride already. Ugh. -

^Isn't it at least better than what people were worried about them taking out!? Wasn't a lot more rumored to leave like the sky ride, log flume, etc.?
