^^Ha, I didn't even think about the Revolution OTSR's versus this with lap bar only! Guess they'll have to come up with a new excuse for why it has OTSR's on it!
^I'm sure all of the construction also plays a part, but it's just too obvious that Howl o Scream did it last year and it went over great and now Universal picks it up this year as well.
^I disagree, remember they used to do a big parade for JUST Halloween Horror Nights...heck I rode on a float! They still had scare zones with that parade...I really feel like this is a knee jerk reaction to BGT.
Well I guess this confirms no Star Flyer for them this year! Must be a bummer for the park as they went through all of the steps to get it approved and everything. I'm assuming Texas is getting the one they were supposed to get?
Yeah, I'm glad you all agree with the 'largest' claim as well as the impossibility to having both on that inversion at the same time. So are we thinking two or three trains?
I'll believe it when I see it. From the video it looks like an extremely tight window to make that ever happen, if even possible at all. In fact, thinking about it more, won't the first train have to clear the top hat and hit a sensor to confirm before they launch the second train?
I'm assuming when they say the 'fastest looping coaster' they mean literally the fastest coaster that has a real loop?
Because unless I'm totally off base, there are other coasters that go upside down that go faster than 70mph. Heck, Six Flags even announced another coaster today that goes 70mph and has an inversion!!! (Iron Rattler)
Didn't Alpengeist claim 70mph at one point?
There are a lot worse parks out there than SFOT. You could be near SFA!!!! A star flyer is a decent addition and it's not like SFOT has ever really suffered in the rides or getting new stuff department.
^They also have been one of the Six Flags parks that never really embraced Social Media and the fans as much as some of the other parks. That could also be the reason for no 'teasers'.
^^The announcements all start at 10am Eastern Time. We'll be posting live updates here, on the Theme Park Review Facebook page and tweeting! So as long as you follow us somewhere you'll know what's going on as it happens!
