Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?
gisco replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
Back to woarm weather here. Supposed to be 70 today. Trees are starting to blossom. We have missed the cold and unfortunately the rain too! -
I Just don't see this wheel being a huge hit. We will see when it opens.

Having just returned from a quick trip to Orlando I had a chance to use Magicband+. I have only two minor complaints. It was awkward to get into the hotel room. The band was on my right wrist, the door handle was on the right with the sensor pad above and you had the door frame. It was hard to get good contact with the band on my right wrist with the door frame and handle in the way. Not a big deal because I really only entered my room once or twice a day. I didn't switch to my left wrist because I ware a watch. If I was staying longer then a few days I probably would ditch my watch if the door handle was on the right and have the band on my left wrist. Added benefit would be not having to worry about tan lines because I already have them from my watch! Second complaint was when charging something at the stores you need to enter a pin number. All well and good but the keypad is very small and I fat fingered it a few times. Again not a big deal and I talked with a few CM about it and a couple of them said they were aware of the problem and bigger keypads were in the works. All in all I liked it a lot. Can't wait to try it out with the family on a longer visit next September.

Churros. Most definitely. Lol. I found it! Where is my Churro? I'm getting more and more impressed with this set up. I have limited time in one park this weekend I can maximize the experience for my co-worker that is with me who has never been. Being able to check out wait times with out having to run across the park will be a huge time saver. Booking a place to eat before entering the park has been a huge plus.

Ocean Park has changed a lot since TPR was there the first time. This better be on the itinerary for 2016!

Most heavily themed theme park
gisco replied to thrillrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Same here, I haven't been to very many US parks. I take one trip a year with TPR and it is usually international. I think I have ridden more coasters in Japan then the US. Back on topic, it would be pretty hard to find a more or better themed park then DisneySea! -
So this weekend I will be in Orlando at the invitation of a company I do business with, all expenses paid! One of the choices of hotels to stay at was the Animal Kingdom Lodge which of course was fine by me. Yesterday I get an email that my magicband can be picked up at registration, cool. Signed up on MDE, hooked my reservation to my account. Added my co-worker as a friend. Bought both our one day tickets and hooked them to my account. Made fastpass reservations and a lunch reservation. Al pretty easy so far. When I enter the park on Sunday, how do I know when my fastpass times are for? Is there an app? Use my phone and go to the MDE website?

^Do you follow the paleo diet which id part of crossfit?

I like the Olympics but they show way to much figure skating and ice dancing. In my book those are not sports. Anything with subjective judging is not a sport. At least with cable there are options to what is on and you're not stuck with the abbreviated prime time stuff they offer.

I can imagine that what ever site they have in mind they will need to get zoning approval. Governments are known to move at a snails pace. -

I don't think I have ever been on Go Karts at any big park. Usually there is too much to do and I can't see paying the up charge. If I want to do them I will go to an FEC. No loss if they all disappear at the bigger parks. -
Some of the commercials were ok but for the most part I can't understand why companies would spend that kind of money just to be on during superbowl.

I can't imagine building a coaster in the snow. Good job to the workers!
