I HAEV SAVED BIG DIPPER!!!!
Skycoastin Steve replied to PRINCE DESMOND's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Absolutely!! BUT, what do you do with witches?? Build a bridge out of them... Wait that doesn't sound right. BURRRRNNNNNNNN THEMMMMMM!!!!!! -
Add me to the list of people who prefer this TOGO to any B&M stand up I have ever been on. If you ride it right it is actually quite a bit of fun! Backseat and keep your head back against the headrest like the sign says and you have nothing to worry about. And remember to prepare for that sudden stop at the end LMAO! Have you ridden Riddler? Or Chang? Or Mantis? Or Georgia Scorcher? The early B&M standups should be banned under anti-torture laws, but starting with Mantis, they blow Togo's standups out of the water. And Mantis isn't even that great.

TR: Six Flags Magic Mountain
Skycoastin Steve replied to KBrylczyk's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've always thought the l.ocker complaint was silly. All I ever do is wear shorts with cargo pockets or a jacket with zip up pockets (depending on the weather). The only time I've ever lost anything was my phone on Goliath at SFOG, and that was because I forgot to zip up my jacket pocket. Other than that, I have 100% success rate not losing crap, and I NEVER use l0ckers. How much stuff do you really need to bring into the park anyway? -

^I could go into my "Six Flags is cheap" rant again, but there's no need for that. We all know how cheap they are. -

With the one train thing, BGT is year round and always has multiple trains available on every coaster for busy days if they need them. In fact, they even have three trains available on Montu at all times of the year. It's not that difficult to do. -
The 100% Official Manly Pose Hall of Fame
Skycoastin Steve replied to ILoveRides's topic in Random, Random, Random
I have to say I'm damn proud to be in the manly pose hall of fame. I'm also damn proud to be the only one in the hall of fame who pulled off the manly pose while standing on roller coaster track! -
Gertrude's 2011 West Coast Bash Adventure.

These trip reports just get better and better. -
I've been to SFOG five times in my life, and they are 0 for 5 in the operations department. It's just one of those places I visit and expect to have a horrible day, hence why my visits there will be pretty sparse from now on. I guess I can drop in to get the Skycoaster Named Coaster credit at some point, but I won't stay long.

Launch Fast? Many Launch Coaster? Launch Hunt? Wolf Hunt? Dragon Fire Hunt? Mach Launch? Or maybe they make it Virginia related. Dogwood Tree Chop? Colonial Cruise? President Assassin? Chesapeake Chase? James River Jaunt? My vote is still on Das Piggehs, a Three Little Pigs launched coaster adventure, but since they didn't go with Der Fallinfast, I'm not holding my breath.

I wonder what the going rate for a plane ticket to Nigeria is right now. -
Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
Skycoastin Steve replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think they should use real dinosaurs, but that's just me. -
^Come on, Robb, we all know rides like Son of Beast are a smashing success and a thrill to be on! But let's not forget epic creations such as Windjammer, that was truly a spectacular piece of coaster engineering! And Rattler! Oh boy! Rattler is such a marvel to look at and ride, the giant helix on the cliff delivers an intense and hair-raising ride to be remembered for years to come!!!! Ok, I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

^That reminds me, I always laugh when someone calls a steel coaster a "metal" coaster. Just makes me think that we'll be listening to Megadeth and Iron Maiden on our ride today. -

Did I happen to run into you the day I came by RipCord last year? It was in August, I was the former TL that visited and flew, if you remember at all. No I was off that day, but I hear about you stopping by. Gotcha. I'll probably be swinging by CP in June, and a trip to CP always involves a trip to Challenge Park!
