^Retractable seat belt or not, I think the allowable size would be the same regardless. -

^Oh yeah, how could I forget? Let me put on my Homer Simpson DOH! face for that one. But at the same time, the coaster would have to be over 456 feet to be deemed the "tallest in New England," and there's no way on this planet or any other that that's going to happen at Hershey. -

^It's tough to fake something like a blue print. It's similar to when someone caught the words "giga coaster" on the Intamin packing slip at KD a few years back. I'd put good money on this layout being legit. -

212 feet would make it the tallest coaster in Pennsylvania, taller than Superman at SFA, taller than anything at BGW, and only 2nd to 305 in the Mid-Atlantic region. You would have to go all the way to CP, KI, or CW to find something taller, and Hershey doesn't even come close to drawing from the same crowd as those parks. Nothing in New England is taller than that, either. The only "exception" would be Phantom's Revenge, which has a 220+ foot drop, but that's not a huge difference. As far as ride length goes, it's tough to tell just from looking at a bird's eye view of the layout and tell exactly how long it is. If it has a lot of airtime hills, that will increase the length. We're also talking about a park that doesn't have a ton of space to put in a mile-long coaster. None of their other coasters are long at all, so it is what it is. -

If the layout is correct, it shows footers that will be in the water where the track crosses over itself. Unless they get even more creative with the supports than they were with Great Bear. -

^Intamin doesn't build long out and back mega coasters like B&M does. Yet all of their mega coasters are very highly rated. Hell, 305 isn't even a mile long, and it's one of the most highly regarded coasters on the planet. Expedition GeForce is a twisty-ish layout with airtime hills thrown in, as is Bizarro, and those have pretty stellar reputations, as well. The same can be said for Goliath at Walibi World and all the mega-lites. Intamin knows how to do airtime, and from the looks of things, there are several airtime hills in this layout. This is certainly not going to be B&M either, just look at the footer placement based on the supports in this picture of Intimidator. Nobody else does the two-support lift hill like Intamin. -

Well there's truckloads of evidence that it's being built by Intamin, the main culprit being the two big footers for the lift hill. It's not like we're just throwing ideas out with no justification for them. If someone was like "it looks like a Mean Streak clone!!!!!" after seeing that layout, then yeah, total moron. All the RIT speculations are complete guesses (which is why I'm ignoring them), but the layout speculation based on the blueprint is pretty educated. You can see where valleys of hills and turns are (supports are close together), and where crests of hills are (supports are spread out). You would be able to tell if it was something with inversions, which it's not. And we can also base our logic off of previous Intamin projects over the last few years. -

Definitely Intamin based on that blueprint, 100% sure of it. You can also see where all the airtime hills are. This thing just might end up being pretty good. Edit: And to add on, it seems to have a lot of similarities to GeForce's layout. I'm going to go ahead and guess 212 feet for the height. -

^Ummmm.....I hate to be the Debbie Downer in this situation and ruin all this auto number generating fun that's going on, but if the e-mail has an auto-reply set up, then that's all you're ever going to get when you e-mail it. But if it makes you happy, keep trying. -
^^^Ha, I was on the last ride before it went down. It was either because of weather or because they were having some serious issues with the computer reading that all the restraints were locked on the cycle before that. Honestly, most of the staff was pretty friendly, but many operators were disinterested and slow. When I rode Roar, I was in the front row and they had already checked the first few cars of the train after locking the restraints. They had to unlock the train for some unknown reason, and then after they relocked it, they didn't even come back to the front of the train to recheck those restraints! That's Restraint Checking 101! I was shocked at that one. Some jackass could have left his lapbar up in the front of the train and nobody would have noticed. The Superman crew was doing what they could and only really sped up when their supervisor was around. I'll go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe they were new-ish employees, but still, effort is something that's easy to give no matter how long you've been there. It's tough to get teenagers to get urgent when the park isn't crowded, but the people in line don't want to wait any longer than they have to, regardless if the line is long or not. When you hear members of the GP wondering out loud why the operators are moving so slowly, then you know it's bad.

I got it. A 4th dimension coaster with 12 inversions that shares the track with Comet for a brief period before going under the 18th green and lighting the creek on fire. -
^They were only running one train, and I'm not even exaggerating when I say there were a few times when I got off the train, walked down the exit, through the gift shop, back to the entrance, through the queue, and back into the station before they dispatched the train again. And it's not like I was running or anything, just a normal-paced walk.

Here is a super exciting video of Superman's crew today. Took it to showcase the new visual scan (still the most unintentionally hilarious operations policy in history), and ended up getting a nice view at how nothing has really changed with this park. I'll sign up to drive the bulldozer when they tear the park down.

You're right. On busy days they usually have at least one person working each row. This video of yours only shows two checking the restraints. That's the point, that two people were able to get some heinously good dispatch times. I've seen Sheikra with four people still stack trains for 90 seconds or more on a regular basis.
