Quick question for the HP regulars. Is Roller Soaker only open during Boardwalk hours? -

^I guarantee the restraints are no different than the hypers over here. Large people don't fit that well on them over here, either. -

While the ride itself is beautiful, its lift hill is still unfortunate looking. It's like the butter face of the coaster world. -

^You do realize that they let regular guests into the front station when there aren't any FL people to fill the train, right? -

Had a night time ride on Phantom in the pouring rain two years ago, it was not pleasant. -

Yeah, winning two game 7's on the road in one playoffs isn't easy. I'm happy with the run they had, though, especially considering they almost missed the playoffs altogether. After tonight, I'm officially on the Kings bandwagon. -
I could literally put half the comments posted on TPR's pictures on facebook, but would that count as dumbest things said on TPR, or the facebook GP thread?

There may or may not be a coaster headed to that area next year. Take that for what it's worth. -

^Then it looks like the price of the pass is doing its job. It's expensive enough so it won't be overused by people. It'll be interesting to see if supply and demand drags the price down. -

^That's got to be a new policy on Woodstock Express, they've always let adults ride without children. -

Fake splash downs on rides like Manta and Shambhala where you have a wall of water in front of/around you = awesome. Trailing splash downs on rides like Sheikra, Griffon, Diamondback, Krake, etc., where you just have a stream of water behind you = pointless. -

It's certainly been a fun 13 games to watch. I'm just hoping there are at least four more after #14! -

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

I witnessed a group of about 30 people in the Dragon Challenge queue go into the room with the candles on the ceiling, then make a U-turn down the switchback instead of continuing forward towards the station. They all followed each other backwards through the queue and into the previous room before they realized what they were doing. I was behind all of them, stood and watched in utter disbelief for about 5 seconds, then continued on. At least I didn't have to wait behind them! -

Are people referring to the really slow turn back into the brakes before the station? I was under the impression that there's an ending brake run, then that slow turn into the final brakes. If that's what everyone is talking about, then it's SUPPOSED to be going that slow on that corner. Otherwise, it looks fine to me. -
Wing riders aren't going to be terribly forceful rides. With the train design they have, it would put a lot of extra stress on the trains themselves if they went through every element at 4 G's. Think of it this way. Grab a yard stick in the middle, then start shaking it back and forth. See how much it bends? Well multiply that by a few thousand pounds, and that's what these trains go through. Forces are always going to be limited on wing riders. Besides, the point of these rides is not to be forceful, but to have a completely open ride experience. Not every ride has to be OMFGZZZZZ forceful to be good.

^As far as Intamin lap bars go, MF's are some of the most comfortable. Hell, on that and TTD, you can barely even notice the lap bar is there. Once you ride something like the Superman clones or Bizarro at SFNE, you get the "ugly" side of Intamin lap bars. I'm hoping these are more on the side of MF and TTD, and nothing like the Superman/Bizarro ones.
