  1. Thanks again for taking the time to post all of these. Our Arrow bus rocked, Spidey included. I know how long it can take to do an update plus captions, and I don't even post large TR's. I always enjoy your updates. It soulds like the better idea would be to just post some highlight pics here, and just download the rest to another site and put the link.
  2. The update was great. I found it at 11:30 pm as I was about to go to bed, but it kept me up for a while longer. Thanks again for such a good time.
  3. It was amazing, and there was some good info in the extra scenes. This show just continues to blow me away.
  4. Slash all the way, although I think Tim Mahoney is really good, too.
  5. I thought it was an "enjoyable" summer movie. Some of the things seemed far fetched, but it is an Indy movie, so I kind of new that would be the case. It seemed like he always knew where to go, and they didn't really explain that too much. It's almost like this movie should have been a bit longer to help explain things. If you're a fan of the series, then go see it, but don't expect a masterpiece.
  6. Thanks for the report. I'm really looking forward to riding Dominator this summer since I wasn't with the group that went to Geauga Lake during the midwest trip.
  7. It is amazing how many places haven't been touched, but also how many places that are back up and running like before. The downtown area is ok, since the flooding wasn't as bad there. If you went into the city, and stayed either downtown or uptown along St. Charles Avenue, you'd never know there was a big storm. But it's when you start venturing out that you see the real damage. The real nightmare has been the fact that the local government still can't get much done. I was hoping this would change after such a big disaster, but that hasn't been the case. I don't live in Orleans parish, so I couldn't vote, but it's crazy that the idiots down here re-elected Nagin. He's hasn't done a thing.
  8. A pretty big one. We throw a parade for just about anything. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. The 3rd quarter just killed them. Tonight showed they just weren't ready. They really need a bench
  9. ^Don't worry, there won't be a parade this year. Unless they have a parade for being the Western Conference runners-up. By the way, if they show someone with a teal head and giant purple glasses tonight, that will be me.
  10. ^ I'm wondering the same thing. I think Penne eventually has to meet up with Desmond, but maybe they somehow get stuck on the island? I just don't see them getting killed so soon. The other issue is the C4-loaded freighter. Both Desmond and Jin are on it, and I still don't think Jin's dead, so maybe they end up swimming back to the island when it blows up.
  11. The theme of the playoffs - Home Court wins. It's just amazing how much different the games are at each team's home court. Everything that could go right for the Spurs last night did. The Hornets didn't deserve to win since they played so badly, but it's funny how in SA the Spurs are allowed to play physical, but the Hornets aren't.
  12. I saw those two and wanted the 2nd one, but I was already buying 2 other retro shirts. Maybe I'll get it when I go back.
  13. Cool report so far. I'm liking the jellyfish storyline so far.
  14. What if Abbadon is actually a future Walt? I know it's a stretch, but on this show, anything's possible. He did say that the next time he and Locke see each other, Locke will owe him one. I'm sure that will come into play this season.
  15. Is Locke going to be the next Jacob? Interesting episode. The return of the ageless Richard Alpert, Horace Goodspeed, and Claire and Christian in the cabin. Everything's falling into place for the end of the season.
  16. ^^^^^I'm not a real big pineapple fan, but I really liked it. I still can't believe I've never tried one before. ^^^^^^I didn't check the single rider line at RnR due to a tight schedule, but I'm going back later this year so I wasn't upset about missing it.
  17. I had some time after tax day to head down to Orlando for a quick trip. It was a bit more crowded than I expected, but since it was only 2 days we really didn't feel the need to hit everything. I want to thank Richard for getting us a good spot at the Lion King show, as I'd never seen it before. Anyway, onto the pictures This one's for Beemer. Epcot monorail porn. Hope everybody enjoyed it. Last pic of the trip, but not this report. There's one more The lounge area by the grill at the resort. This was the main pool area at Saratoga Must be for Dan Hmmmm. . . . gravy tape I'll take a helmet with fungus, but no mold. There were lots of animals out on the safari today Looks like Yeti Ball is getting a lot of action. There were all these mini-yeti balls everywhere I see you Only shovelers are allowed on Test Track Imaginationland We almost didn't find this. Good thing we did. That smile is hiding the sorrow of a Soren-less Germany The flower and garden festival was going on. Not as much fun as the food and wine. Behold! The glorious, wandless, Spaceship Earth. It's good to see you again after all these years. This is just to wet your appetite, Beemer. There's more My first dole whip Umm. . no, don't think so. Originally, i thought this was bad. Then we ran into a 140 minute wait at Rock n Rollercoaster. I want Mr Toad back Goofy's Barnstormer, an actual credit on this trip. Best ride in tomorrowland We stayed at Saratoga Springs, this was our building. It was right along the golf course Ate at Raglan Road the first night. This is the pork stuffed with sausage.
  18. The thing that bothers me is that there is no true definition of what the MVP should be. Sometimes it's given more as a career award (like this year with Kobe, or 98 with Karl Malone), others it's given for the best player on the best team (Dirk last year), and other times it's given to the guy who had the most influence on the success of his team (Nash a few years ago). I am shocked that Kobe hasn't won an MVP already, but let's say the Gasol trade doesn't happen and LA finishes 4th or 5th in the west, does he still get it? Probably not. I think the MVP award should include both the regular season and playoffs
  19. Keep telling yourself that. You, and everyone else who doesn't give this team a chance. Kobe = 30 years old, in his prime, but a lot of tread on those tires. Paul = 22, not even in his prime yet, and an MVP candidate, the real MVP, which he'll prove next round. I'll take my chances with CP3
  20. You know, it's been sad driving past the park at least once a week and seeing Mega Zeph just sitting there begging us to ride him. It's tough to see, but this is SFNO from my plane back into town 2 weeks ago. You can see the giant parking lot pretty well.
  21. The thing is, yes, they are held to a higher standard. But, they have to deal with the budgets that they are given. I think if they were given a mostly unlimited budget on most projects, then we'd get things that are much better than some of the things they've been putting out. I think they do what they can with what they're given. If you look around, they still put out most of the the best quality attractions. Sometimes they do get lots of flak, and sometimes they put out some not-so-good attractions, but there are also other factors that go into those.
  22. Hornets are in a really good spot right now. They're younger, they're hungrier, and they have the real MVP.
