  1. OK, now that I'm recovered from BAB and the party bus. I just wanted to thank everyone on the party bus for being cool as hell. I did not meet anyone who i didn't like. You are a strange, interesting and very cool group of people. And to robb, elissa, and their crew(bitch twins you frighten me, god save us all) thanks for a great event. Food, ert, tpr members all awesome. On paper the schedule look like it was going to be a little tight, but in reality there was more than enough time to hit all the credits and still explore the parks. Thanks again, gotta do it again sometime.
  2. ^Yes, juicy BAB goodness, having coaster withdrawl already.
  3. Everything was closed to us except the dipper, had some kinda grad night going on. We got there saw the rides going and bum rushed the boardwalk, only to be turned away cause we didn't have the right wristband. I think i drank somewhere between 10 and twelve beers. Food was awesome, weather was great, Robb kept flashing his butt crack. good times.
  4. Fluffy fluffy pancakes filled with medicine and goo.
  5. It amazing how much force that ride has when your fat.
  6. Gotta love Pepsi, they set michael jackson on fire, way to go Pepsi! EDIT-not intentionally of course
  7. ^^So what your saying is that you want to buy us all a beer at the elephant bar?
  8. Problem with l0ยข OK, so maybe I'm whining, but when enough people all whine at the same time, it means somethings wrong. That said, i know nothing about theme park management and I'm actually surprised shapiro is out. I thought he was doing good with what he had to work with. As far as Thomas Town goes, the problem was that it was half assed, they need to retheme the whole area like CGA did when the put in planet snoopy. There was an opportunity to bring new life to the kids area and they blew it. But, had it been done correctly it would have been huge, instead people come and are disappointed. The idea was good, poorly executed, but good. Imho. They should hire Theme Park Review as ceo, not just Robb, the whole damn site. We could run it as a collective, like the borg on star trek. Apparently we know everything anyway, or at least thats what we think.
  9. I seen alot of kids at amusement parks who need to be punched in back of the head, not that i condone that, but...
  10. U.S. might make the second round? I think.
  11. I think my daughter actually invented the double down long before kfc. Only hers was two chicken dinosaurs with ketchup in the middle. Key is to match the dinosaurs, don't put a pterosaur with t-rex or you'll get ketchup on your fingers. By the way, her version tastes better.
  12. Got the email for the party bus, now its official. Now i just gotta decide between Mc Donalds and subway.
  13. Yes, i agree, whoever built rocket rods must have been on crack.
  14. On a events and kids note. Have you ever considered a family type rate for events like WCB. Mainly for people with kids who are too small to enjoy ERT, and who would not be consuming mass quantities at the breakfast or lunch portion. I would love to be able to do ERT in the morning, have a couple donuts with the kids, then in that mid-day time when there isnt anything going on, hit the kids area with the wife. Maybe a kids under whatever age or height price. You gotta figure it wouldn't mess up ERT, because they wouldn't be able to ride anyway, and with the ERT going on it would make it for both parents to get some rides in without haveing to wait in line and do a whole pain in the ass parent swap. Could conceivably even have kids ert on percy or something.
  15. Rocket rods didn't have a real track, thats why it didn't work properly. From what i understand it needed to be banked, so it didn't have to brake so often, or something. I'm sure someone on here knows better than i do. Point being that Rocket Rods was terrible, imho I wouldn't even count it. In fact i bet even disney would like to forget it. Now these look awesome, can't wait to ride.
  16. I can't really say i could pick the best, but bigfoot rapids at Knott's used to be my favorite. Over the years its really lost its punch, i don't know what exactly has happened to it, but it kinda sucks now. I remember it being much more intense than it is, i mean you hardly even get wet now. I actually wouldn't mind seeing it torn out to make room for something new. I do like Grizzly over at DCA, that spin down the last drop is always fun.
  17. Isn't Terminator Salvation a GCI?
  18. The tunnel leading to the parking lot at Knott's. I got a loud muffler and when i drive through i rev it just enough to scare the people walking through. But, ill give pony express a mention just cause nobody else will. What can i say, i like the little horse shaped trains, they remind me of the rides in front of the supermarket when i was a kid.
  19. I'm not much of a credit whore, i mean i have kids so i got an excuse to ride kiddie coasters. But, my cousin doesn't have many credits so we plan on hitting anything with a track to get his numbers up. One thing i always wonder is if they would let us ride percy during wcb, i could see everyone running for percy during ert.
  20. Supreme scream is great, especially when you get that little delay at the top and aren't sure when your going to drop. Woodstocks airmail is my kids favorite, seems tiny, but i've seen a lot of kids get off crying. Drop zone at adventure city is fun, because i can ride it with my kids, and its pretty intense for being so little.
  21. Timber Mountain Log Ride at Knott's is still great among log flumes, and considering its one of the original log flumes, it holds up pretty well. I think the fact that it is enclosed, well themed, a little splashy, a little fast, and has some spooky dark parts, make up for the height of the drop. Still its great for kids, my son's 2 and he thinks its great.
  22. I got a text that says, if you have a season pass you can bring a friend on mothers day or fathers day for 9.99. Which is cool, but how do i convince my wife to let me bring someone with us on "her" day. I guess if i bring my cousin, he can watch the kids for a few and we can actually get a ride in together, instead of having to do a swap. Yes, sounds like a plan. Oh, and that red and yellow paint makes it look like xcelerator should be pulling into a McDonalds, imho.
  23. 3. Is Beth in the trip report? If so, what's her role? If not, why isn't she in the trip report? (Beth is Gertrude's goose friend - if you didn't know) Yes, Beth got tickets by collecting change from a fountain. She planned to keep it a secret and ditch Gertrude. After seeing Gertrude on the bus she must quickly disguise herself.
  24. First off, if she couldn't afford it why didn't she just put it on her "bill", old joke. 27.12oz. mouse
  25. There is a video on screamscape called "unboxing harry potter's wizaring world", its also on youtube. Shows the invitations to opening day, which included a hogwarts train ticket and a wand. Check it out, good stuff.
