  7. ^^^ ok .. no words can describe how funny that was
  8. I need cheaper airfare and them to be open.
  9. Ok updated this with larger and smaller versions as well as a Real Media version: http://www.lonestarthrills.com/features/videogallery.php
  10. Robb's gonna be busy I think
  11. Ok, so I we made this quickly tonight, but I've gotten nothing but great words from friends and people I know like Robb, so without further delay here's my tribute video to Six Flags Astroworld which closed on Sunday forever and I was lucky enough to have the last public ride on the Texas Cyclone no less: Six Flags Astroworld Tribute (25.2MB - Windows Media Stream)
  12. Vekoma is the consulting company on Robocoaster track, hence the similar track by AMEC who Vekoma worked with on the Robocoaster track.
  13. Hmm the track was supplied by AMEC Dynamic Structures who got their track design and layout from .... shocker .. VEKOMA ... funny how the track looks similar to the newer Vekoma track out there like on Everest.
  14. Talley Amusements has one that travels to the smaller fairs they show at .. mainly the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, never anything the size of Minnesota State Fair of the State Fair of Texas.
  15. Batman the Ride maybe, not the Escape .. it's going to a scrap heap and it's about damn time.
  16. Yes correct, but not all park process season passes the same day, some wait until the start of the new season to do that. SFOT processes passes, btu they are open until January and process also in the off-season on certain days.
  17. Here's an example of what will be closed at SFOT: Roaring Rapids Splash Water Falls Log Flumes Texas Giant Oil Derrick Batman The Ride Mr Freeze Flashback Texas Chute Out Kiddie Train Other rides SHOULD be open, but weather can affect that like rain, snow, ice and super cold weather. If it's under 35 degrees count on closures of: Superman Tower of Power Shockwave
  18. Hmm if your ISP doesn't have a backup then sounds like they aren't very trustworthy .. as Ted said .. All GOOD ISPs will have a virtual server like that backedup at least once a week fully and incremental daily.
  19. SFOT doesn't open back until the end of November and SeaWorld closes right at the start of December. So, with that said .. enjoy the half park operations of SFOT and their short hours of 4-10 and 4-9 on weekends. Also SDC and Dollywood will run rides, but if it's colder than 40 degrees, you won't be on anything since they shut down their rides at that point, at least SDC does, I would assume Dollywood would operate the same way.
  20. All good ISPs also have firewalls and scan for activities as this .. sounds like someones server was locked down very hard.
  21. Yes you can, but hope they are doing processing. Fiesta Texas is selling 2006 passes but you can't process them until March, if that's the case, you'll be stuck with a SFA pass that will have to be processed there before it can be used anywhere else.
  22. Our Batman has big boy seats.
  23. Well they are getting a water park expansion in 2006 and I'm pretty sure they aren't looking at the coasters, the one that would make sense is Serial Thriller, but they've shot that idea down since they have Great White about 8 miles down the road. They have mentioned Cyclone would look nice in the boardwalk section, but don't count on it. The coaster could be a 'water coaster' like SFNE got, I know they are getting a package from ProSlide, since SF Inc seems to like them lately and the media are full of tards like most of the internet communities that will remain nameless. Plus last I checked, SF only had 20 parks with 1 being semi-closed right now and not counting water parks because all water worlds slides are being relocated to Splashtown and they have already begun the move.
  24. Hmm well inform SFFT about that because they said they have not yet decided what they want if anything from Astroworld, only a few rides have been decided on for 2006, and no Ultra Twister hasn't yet and Fiesta has said they don't see any coaster at this moment coming to them from there. This is straight from the Vp/GM of the park, if they do get rides from Astroworld, don't expect to see them before 2007.
  25. Celebration City is closed for the season, SDC doesn't close until end of December. SDC is one of the greatest parks on the planet, so yeah.
