^ I love the smaller, better rides. The race to be the "tallest, longest, fastest" resulted in some real duds. I'm glad the parks came to their senses and decided spending $20+ million on a single ride is a huge waste of money when you can get 2 or maybe even 3 much smaller but MUCH more fun coasters!
Two things -
1 - Good, you're one less person in my way when I visit from Vegas.
2 - Knott's is only $80-ish for the year. It's plenty of fun.
Now shush. I've got to drive ~4 hours to get to a decent park. You don't.
Timberland hiking shoes. They're made with the same materials as their boots, but they're the size and style of sneakers. Waterproof, breathable, totally awesome.
All you guys are getting super excited about the possibility of a massive, all-steel RMC being built in the near future. Meanwhile I'm gonna love it if it turns out to be just a long monorail with banked turns. Rocket Rods take 2, anyone?
Aw crap, in writing that I just realized it's actually a very good possibility for Disneyland.
What kind of drop rides have you been riding? You have a choice. A kid friendly one (frog hopper) or a not kid friendly one (everything else). I've not seen a small kid ride a full size drop tower and enjoy themselves. They're usually crying and screaming bloody murder.
Wait, wait, wait, weren't you the one praising Nautic Jet at Schlossbeck? The insane attraction that quite literally throws you into "Malaria Lake?" Here's a vid for those who don't know what I'm talking about.
