  1. I don't want to, though. I'd rather imagine a decent change.
  2. Surf coaster dive machine cars. Then they're gonna change the name to Dr. Diabolical's Cliffjumper. Continuing to follow in SFOG's footsteps, they're also going to repaint the ride and have it SBNO for a full year.
  3. Au contraire, I'm almost 40 and want this thing to beat me into submission every time. Makes me feel alive, baby! ...I may be realizing I have a slight BDSM fetish...
  4. Yep, and they've pulled back the evacuation warning zone a few miles, as well. Currently it's only going as far south as Tapia Canyon Road (well, just barely south of it). The evacuation warning boundary was originally the intersection of I-5 and SR-126. https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/2025/1/22/hughes-fire
  5. They're really trying hard to get people excited about this large wet blanket.
  6. Thank you. You're wrong, though. Boss 4 Lyfe.
  7. While it's pretty, it still doesn't justify the $450/night price.
  8. Holy crapola, that's larger than I expected. Talocan is 43' 4" tall. Even adding the 16' structure as a base, that only gets you to 61' tall. Big beefy boy, it seems. Still no Tomb Raider: The Ride, though. It's a crime that we didn't see more of those get built. Kings Island never should have murdered it, or at the very least they could have, I dunno, DONE SOMETHING TO THE BUILDING! I digress. Let's get back to being bigger than Talocan. Like, damn, dude, this thing is gonna get wacky. Here's an exact quote from myself while riding Talocan - Yeah, I love that thing. Full steam ahead, Alton Towers!
  9. Glad to see they're getting serious about this park's future with all this investment. It's nice to know there's going to be other things to do when GeForce is broken in the afternoon...and morning...and evening...
  10. I wish I could say that's sad, but let's be honest, the restraint systems in those things were horrible. I would LOVE for someone to start making a gravity-driven looping ship again but it seems we're now stuck with the ones that are fully motor-controlled. If they made a new Looping Starship with restraints that didn't push directly into my sternum the entire ride, sign me up.
  11. ^ Especially in the back row when you casually roll straight through with no real trim then get launched out of your seat, only for the remainder of the coaster to be an all-out assault on your body in the best way. Harder, daddy. I'm being serious. The Boss is incredible. I'll die on this hill. Yes, you are all wrong.
  12. That's going to be the loudest hotel in Orlando. Nothing but hard surfaces that bounce sound all over the place. Those curves will make for some interesting auditory experiences throughout, though, so there's that.
  13. Hi, people! I'm making a trip to CDMX in early March for the International Pyrotechnic Fair. Please, see below - Anywho, I'm planning on swinging through Six Flags on the 7th to get a stupid cheap all-park passport ($120ish USD) and ride me some RMC and Morgan standouts. I'm not too worried about tips for the park but I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations for the city itself. I'm staying in Centro Historico and will have two full days to explore. I know about the must-do museums and all of the hits any travel guide will tell you. Any hiddem gems or local knowledge?
  14. Unironically, It's already the premier coaster in the park. The Boss is a goddamned monster of a ride and I love it to death. Top three woodie, no notes, perfect ride. Back seat only, harder daddy.
  15. I'm still waiting for an actual implosion date. I'm not kidding, I'll drive to my mom's place in central Jersey, buy a drone and a gopro, and get footage of this beast dying.
  16. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I'll miss the Treble Cleff element, though.
  17. ^ Judging by my ride on it earlier this year? No well.
  18. Six Flags said today (according to NJ.com) that further details will be announced later this week. I'm banking on S&S redoing the launch system and either a new coaster in GL's spot or them expanding the painfully short Ka layout.
  19. If Ka stays, cool. If Ka leaves, cool. If they refurbish it and open both halves of the station again, even better.
  20. Imagine pitting Gringott's against literally every other ride listed. There's no contest for weakest.
  21. If that everything is standing in an unmoving line in Pandora, sure! You're right, though. Without the Avatar waits padding your day there's really not much at the park outside of enjoying the atmosphere and the shows. We finished our trip with an AK day and managed to fill it between shows and multiple laps on Everest and Kilimanjaro. If I were still a teen or 20-something, though, I'd have been aching for an excuse to leave. Now that I'm almost 40 with a toddler, well, the day was fan-friggin-tastic and I wouldn't change a thing.
  22. If it actually gets shipped to St Louis maybe there'll be the benefit of them dismantling the trains and rebuilding them with tighter wheel assemblies. Green Lantern used to be tolerable and fun, recently it's like getting in the ring with Tyson.
  23. SDC seriously sent out a message about an hour ago about a GIGAntic announcement coming at 3:30. I think they're trolling.
