  1. A reacreation of defunct Big Bad Wolf. This time made out of wood. I would ride that thing until it killed me. So one ride.
  2. ^ Also building a free standing drop tower of that height is madness. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Star Flyers.
  3. As awesome as drop rides are, it's only a matter of time until a member of the oh-so-incredible Great Adventure clientele throws some object at an oncoming Ka train and everything gets shut down.
  4. What if I show up with fresh cookies?
  5. ^ It'll be interesting, that's for sure. My money is on a Skloosh refurb.
  6. Here I am hoping for a Parks & Rec reference. Oh, well. Also, must be a slow news day. Waterpark and then a grinding stone.
  7. Circus Circus just posted this to Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151845962442511 Hellooooooooooooo hangtime!
  8. ^ Nice. Had to click the link, though. The embed isn't working.
  9. Well, I do like the flyer / wing rider restraints...on flyers and wing riders. They're quite comfy, but there's also the issue some people ::cough::craig::cough:: have with those restraints tightening throughout the ride and becoming uncomfortable. I've never had an issue, though. It'll be interesting to see how they work out on an invert.
  10. Apparently I posted in the wrong thread earlier. I went to the stickied giveaway thread, haha. I got my GIGANTIC Bag O' Crap today and couldn't believe how insane it was! There's far too much to list so I'll let the picture do the talking.
  11. HOLY CRAP BALLS! This was the Bag O' Crap to end all Bags O' Crap! There's way too much in here to list it all, so I'll let the image do the talking. Robb, Elissa, you guys have NO idea how perfect your timing was with this arriving to me today. This past week has been a nightmare dealing with a burst water heater destroying half of my apartment, then having to deal with the horrific management work at a snail's pace to get things fixed while also trying to haggle me into paying, etc, etc. Thank you so much for this!
  12. Can't meet Carnival's standards?! There's no hope. We might as well off ourselves now, guys!
  13. Don't you know that a slight tanline on your wrist is equivalent to a death of a thousand papercuts?
  14. I really need to give that steakhouse a try. Everyone has told me how it's a hidden gem and absolutely incredible. I'm not sure if I should believe the hype and go or if I'm just a pawn in a huge practical joke and setting myself up for severe disappointment.
  15. Small but feisty. It's a good old school B&M, you know, before they castrated themselves. I haven't ridden in some time so I can't comment on current roughness (it was fine when I rode last) but it's a very quick and fun ride.
  16. ^ I know, I know. And yes, the first 60 seconds of the video were decent. You can tell they did it to save whatever fame they have remaining, though.
  17. ^ His casual "Haha, they've eaten people recently, hahahaha!" at the end ticked me off.
  18. Annnnnd the "Bag O' Douche" list gets another tally mark...
  19. ^ Oh, I absolutely LOVE nearly every ride I've ever been on. There's just something about the B&M hypers that rub me the wrong way. I rode Nitro on opening day and, at the time, it was a very fun ride. It hasn't aged well, however, and after riding it in 2012 I just really didn't enjoy it. But when I plopped myself down into Rolling Thunder I had a great time! EuroStar was probably the tipping point for me. I'd been tired of B&M's design choices for hypers already but I still had some fun on them. EuroStar was just bad, though. No airtime, rough, and a completely lackluster layout. It seems that every one of their hypers has become the same thing. Hill after hill with no airtime and poor pacing. Throw me on Ghost Rider, though, a coaster many have come to loathe over the years, and I'm happier than a pig in poop!
  20. Late March and early April is one of the worst times to go, actually. You're in the heart of Spring Break season. God be with ye.
  21. ^ I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 99.9% exactly the same, but a little higher.
  22. Eh, that's actually smooth sailing for Magic Mountain.
  23. Except that B&M hypers aren't fun. They shudder all over the place and have (generally) boring layouts.
