  1. ^ Oh my, that enclosed blue bodyslide looks awesome! Just a simple curve but it would be so fun!
  2. I just happened across this on Reddit and HAD to share it. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  3. ^ Alright, it's not THAT much of a difference.
  4. Chiming in a bit late here. I've had Tapatalk for a while now and honestly don't see any bonus to using this app. I downloaded it when you made the announcement and I'll open it from time to time, but I really prefer to open Chrome on my phone. I find the UI a mess, really. I get it, there's no issue with that. I just don't enjoy it. I feel like the team tried to over-simplify the browsing experience but somehow made it a much bigger hassle than it should be. I'm gonna poke around a bit more with this app but I'm close to calling it quits.
  5. Mack's Blue Fire trains are, IMO, the best trains in the business for airtime. This is going to be nuts.
  6. You bring up a good point about the angle of the seats. At this point I'm pretty sure B&M is focusing more on making armchairs than rollercoasters.
  7. HELL YEAH FOR CONVOY, SHANE! Friggin' EXCELLENT movie!
  8. For some reason I love the paint job on that coaster. It seems so original. That giant rock with the faces on it looks a bit death-defying, in a malaria sort of way...
  9. Are you guys hunting for the Ark of the Covenant?
  10. I would. It would turn my life into a giant guessing game!
  11. Wild stab in the dark. You're already in India, why not complete the around the world loop and keep heading east? Australia.
  12. Technically THREE dark rides since their dinosaur boat ride is also a dark ride!
  13. That sunrise is gorgeous. The coasters look good, too, haha.
  14. After a quick Google search, you guys are in Mumbai International Airport. http://www.thehindu.com/multimedia/dynamic/01716/10IN_THSAS_MA_3_1716563g.jpg Same pillars with green numbering. Edit - Damn you, Jeromy.
  15. ^ I agree, but here's another thing you need to take into account: The park is sandwiched between heavy residential areas. I'm pretty sure Shane would rather keep the neighbors happy right off the bat. In the future I'm sure there will be talks with the local HOAs to see just what kind of events could happen. I'm not saying it WON'T happen, I'm just saying it won't happen right NOW.
  16. I'm telling you guys, it's a Skloosh refurb. They're retrofitting it to run backwards. You're gonna be sent backwards out of the station, through the splashdown pool, then launched backwards up the drop, only to come right back down and get soaked. Basically, they're YOLO-ing Skloosh.
  17. ^^ I actually asked Shane about night operation during our hard hat tour the other day. He said that it won't happen this season and he's not sure about future seasons. The costs of operation far outweighs the amount of money being brought in at that point. I'll let him get into more detail, of course. They will have the proper infrastructure, though, to install lighting throughout the park...
  18. I'm gonna love if they do this whole around the world plane trip and end up in Epcot.
  19. ^ That's a good catch about where they ARE and not where they're GOING. Also he posted the satellite image like you'd see if you were passing over it in a plane.
  20. Well, I'm getting some sleep. Good luck to everyone who is still up or those overseas who are in the middle of their day. I wonder what madness I'll wake up to!
  21. Apparently everyone has called it a night. That's a shame. I've got no idea at all about the Heathrow Express picture.
  22. ^^ Those trains look way bulkier than any other invert. I'm surprised the new restraints would require such a drastic size change.
  23. People are REALLY stuck on the Olympics, aren't they?
  24. ^ Awesome shot of the entry at dusk! That will be the view as the park is closing, really. The moon and the arriving planes to McCarran. Also, slide assembly WHOO!
  25. I highly doubt it's open in February, but Ai Pioppi in Italy? It's in Northern Italy, not too far from Venice and Lake Garda, which is why I doubt it's open since Gardaland and Movieland Studios don't open until April. Anyway, in case that actually is where you're off to, here's my reasoning. Scott Pilgrim - "Gelato isn't vegan?" "Milk and eggs, bitch." Cow and chicken machine - Milk and eggs. Elsa and Anna - Bitches (ghetto-slang version). Carnegie Deli - Delis are Italian. Especially that one. Julia Stiles - Google claims 1/3rd Italian. Soda - Italian soda is way better than American soda. McDonalds - We hit up a highway rest area McDonalds on the Italy 2012 TPR trip. Multiple flushes for a toilet - Italians like eggplant. Eggplant gives you gas. Farts galore! Mel Brooks / Producers - The owner of Ai Pioppi created the park from scratch and built everything himself. He produced it. Bally's - No clue on this one. DEVO - Since the rides are homemade, it's kind of a de-evolution of ride technology. Racetrack - Italians love their racing. Rent - No clue, but I hate both the movie and the show. Hmm, maybe they're going to Paris instead! Rollercoasters and flat rides pics - There's both at Ai Pioppi. Happy Horse Year - That is the sign from inside The Venetian / The Palazzo Las Vegas at their seasonal display for the Chinese New Year. So that's the current guess and homework. Ai Pioppi.
