  1. Hehe, yeah it was funny when we walked in. The guy working the front just kind of stared at us and then asked "Everyone over 18?". We said yes, and he just waved us in. I'm sure if it was busy they would have turned us away.
  2. You got it backwards. Snake River Falls is the hydro-flume, which still stands. WWL was the log flume at CP. And WWL was removed this past off season. In it's place is going to be the 2007 coaster.
  3. ^ Yeah, but it's probably different when you're there with your son. When you go and it's only you, well then it might look different. It actually turned out well when we went. Going so late meant we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Had we gone at like 2pm on a saturday it would have been jammed packed with screaming kids.
  4. ^ Yup. They had a big tube maze with a slide. (that's where that one picture is from). I was surprised that I actually managed to fit into it. I kind of had to bend around corners to fit through. Crawling around in it was kind of nerve wracking as you could feel the the structure shift with every move.
  5. Yeah, and that picture was taken after the machine sucked 2 tokens from me. Luckilly I pretty much have those rides memorized.
  6. So some friends and I decided to go to Chuck E Cheese last night. On the way I was kind of regreting the choice, thinking that we were going to look really out of place. Though we ended up having a blast. Luckilly being there in the evening, and on a week night resulted in very few kids being there. Or maybe we just scared them all away. It was actually pretty cheap too. 38 tokens for $10, and each game was 1 token. They also sold beer, but getting drunk at Chuck E Cheese might be a bit overboard. Plus the place was a bit sketchy. Here's a bit of a photo TR of our night of fun. It's all about the games. Take that duck! There was even a couple coaster games(though ironically both were broken). I barely managed to fit into this one. You can't see but it's actually one of those Cedar Point POV simulators(playing Gemini and Blue Streak). This was the best game, a giant two person pong game. You can move the padels left and ride, as well as spin them in a full circle. I even went climbing in the giant tube maze. I was sure it was going to buckle under my weight at any minute. There was this really messed up blue screen thing. There was also the creepy robot Chucky. Shortly after this picture was taken it turned to the left and grabbed for my inner thigh. Chucky at work again. Who says you're too old for Chuck E Cheese?
  7. Painful, depressing, urge to gouge my eyes out with a spoon everytime I watch a game. Seeing what changes have to be made, but knowing hell will freeze over before it happens.
  8. ^ There's a bit of airtime. It's hard to describe though. Without being able to see the darkness really screwes with your senses. You can barely even feel the banking of the 90 degree turn. Another one I thought of was Demon at SF Great America. Though in a messed up way. Seriously what's with the christmas lights? That ride is just screwed up.
  9. ^ Let see how many fatboats we can produce on the UK trip. Though nothing will compare to rolling back the kiddy coaster at Quassy.
  10. Hades without a doubt for me.
  11. I was lucky enough to ride Vertigo in it's short lifespan. Don't think I've ever been so scared of a restraint in my life.
  12. No offense to Mike but I don't want that.
  13. ^^^ Hehe, it'd probably cost more to mail them then it would to buy new one's.
  14. I assume you're talking about this picture: ( warning it's kind of a morbid picture ) Link
  15. Hopefully we can get some teacups spinning as fast as this one: Link
  16. ^^ My house came with a box of those teas. Of course I don't drink tea though, so they'll probably sit in my kitchen unused.
  17. Vortex is a fine ride as long as you don't mind getting your head bashed in. PKI has some of the most painful coasters around. I'd consider Beast,SoB,and Vortex as one time rides only. I wouldn't really be rushing to get back into line. But to each his own I guess.
  18. You should have got a P-P-P-Powerbook. (hope you know that joke otherwise this post means nothing )
  19. I saw one of these at a freinds place. Though his had about twice as many buttons.
  20. Awesome. I've been thinking about buying one of those. But common sense is keeping me from adding an extra $2K onto my credit card.
  21. Here's my place. Like Joe most of these pics are from when I was moving in. My house(the unit right in the center of the pic) Living room. (note the drapes was the first thing to go when I moved in) View from my balcony. Another shot of my living room. And yes I setup my computer on a coffee table in the living room 10 minutes after moving in. The troll doll on a pole protecting my kitchen. My office. Still moving in 8 months later.
  22. At least it looks like there's more room in the ride then some teacups. The kiddy teacups we squeezed into at SDC were barely big enough for two adults squeezed sideways. We got those one's spinning at a revolution a second(I counted the video frame by frame).
  23. It's a miracle you made it there driving on the wrong side of the road and all. Thanks for the pics, I'm looking forward to this park in June.
  24. Happy birthday Don!!
  25. Wow Discovery Canada is running a new coaster show? Canada tends to get left out on the coaster shows.
