Theme Park Review's 2007 Group Trips!
Carnage replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A 10 year old might have trouble keeping up with such a big trip. I'm in my 20s and the 3 week long coaster trips I've taken(including the TPR UK trip) have been huge tests of endurance. Considering that the Japan trip is supposed to be the most intense trip, you might want to think that through. -
At least 12 shot at Montreal college

Guns aren't banned in the US. It's called "the right to bare arms". Ban or no ban, people will still get their hands on guns and shoot people. -
PPP 2006 - 2nd Annual Breakfast Meetup

I would have considered it for sure, as that happens to be Canadian thanksgiving. (so the monday would be a holiday). But I'm more then likely going to be visiting relatives in Indy that weekend. My parents are bribing me with a visit to Holiday World to get me to go. -

I think you misunderstood. There are alot of people from the 2006 TPR UK trip going on the Spain trip. Not alot of people from the UK. Well there could be a decent amount of people coming from the UK, I don't really know for sure. Just figured I'd clear up what we've been meaning by "lot's of UKers going on the Spain trip". -
Intamin Rockets down?
Carnage replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Kanonen ran just fine when we were there. Speed Monster was the only rocket on the trip that had problems. -

^ I'll have a deposit for you probably by tomorow, or soon after. Just waiting for my paycheck to come in. -

I think it's still there. But isn't the marina gate just off to the left of the main entrance?? So the soak city entrance would still by far be the closest to Maverick. -
^ That's why I waited. Crazy brits. Happy birthday!!

^ The smart people would enter at the soak city entrance. That wouldn't really be all that far of a run. Though really I can't see there being a running of the bulls like there is for MF. I know I'm not going to waste my energy running to this ride. -

Plus the Spain trip is looking to have the largest amount of UK Tripers. We got our own forum to talk about it. Plus there's really very few questions that we'd need to ask as we've already been through one trip, and know what to expect and when. -
he's right. There is one human race. Living Humans. Ok, fine racism doesn't exist as there is only one race. There is however prejiduce due to differences in nationality, skin colour, language spoken, etc etc. However you define it, racism and prejiduce exits and will always exist.

In fact TTD was topped with an American and Canadian flag if I remember correctly. (some of the workers were Canadian). So nothing to do with 9/11. Edit: Here's the pic. Link -
It was a great weekend. I had alot of fun, and Blue Streak was really a sleeper hit for me. I made it home in pretty much exactly 6 hours. Got away from Kennywood at 6, and made it home by 12. Unlike going into the US, the Canadian customs officer seemed to just be annoyed that I was interupting his computer game(I sweat that's what he was doing). I'll post my TR later hopefully, including my experience in the Conneaut hotel.

Many of these questions have been answered in the flyer or the Q&A transcript. Try reading thsoe before asking the question. Not in the midwest. Some parks will be more lenient then others(like the Dells). But a park like Cedar Point will have a strict no camera policy at all times, no exceptions. Very few US parks allow cameras on rides. -

And make sure to look very closely at your dates/times for airfare before booking. Don't book a flight, not notice that it lands the following day,and then book a 2nd flight that leaves hours before the 1st lands. I'm not naming names though. Barry. -

Expedia, Travelocity, airlines websites, etc. Just keep checking them and watching the price. Buy when you think it looks good. But airfair is a crap shoot, it could go up or down at random times. For the UK trip I had my flight I was watching go up $200 overnight. I scrambled and got the same price elsewhere, but with a worse flight. These are all details though that will be gone over many times once the trip forum is setup. Especially closer to the trip. You'll find that closer to the trip details like airfair and anything else you can possibly think of will be brought up by someone in the trip forum. I spent quite alot of timing reading the UK forum. -
Waterslide that goes up without jets?
Carnage replied to ArrowHater's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Looks like a cool water slide. Though the video sucked. Played a bunch of a crappy rap song and then only showed a small clip of the slide in action. -
There's a post in the theme park forum explaining that the birthdays were removed to clean up the calendar. And the memberlist works for me. Ted being a Mod shouldn't it have always worked for you?

The lift hill is going to be an LSM launched hill, kind of like Cali Screamin. Should me an * on that two launches stat. I like the looks of this. Should be a good fun ride. Kind of sad the aquatrax taunting thread is gone though. -

What about correcting dates? I just noticed that PCW's closing date is set for Sept 8th, instead of Oct 8th. Looks Joe filed that one wrong.
