  1. I don't think many people had a problem with the first drop, it was everything that came after it. My only ride on SOB was post-loop in the front row, and it was a pretty intense drop for sure. I just wish I could have jumped off the ride before it completed the rest. You probably would have suffered less injuries that way...
  2. There are some parts of St. Augustine that are just... scarry. And not "OMG THESE PIRATES ARE SO SCARY!!!!1!!" But more like "OMG IM A GONNA GET MUGGED BY THESE PIRATES"
  3. Latest version of Chrome and I can see it with out the Advertisement covering up navigation buttons!
  4. ^ I agree. This should be in promotional material. Great pictures! I love how colorful the place is! Reminds me of Coral Reefs... I cant wait to go to Aquatica!! I might be moving down to Orlando soon, so I gotta hit up the water park Ive yet to go to!
  5. I whole heartily agree. I think Busch understands that they needed to replace the late, great, family ride (Big Bad Wolf) with another family ride. And so far, Verbolten looks like a great fit. Am I disappointed by this? No way. It will be a nice stepping stone to the bigger and badder Alpie & Griffion.
  6. Im setting up my phone interview tomorrow, so If I do well, it'll be nice to be with fellow enthusiast. Whats the interview like? Any tips/hints?
  7. Well if the track is black, then the eyes will naturally look at the "show". Green would look nice through those trees, so im thinking green outside, black inside.
  8. Accidents do happen. And sometimes there is an over reaction to things like this. This reminds me of when Mission:Space at Epcot had those two incidents, and they toned down the centrifuge, and created a simulator/ centrifuge-free side. It was a complete accident, and IMO Disney was not a fault. I believe that Universal is not at fault here either, yet its unfortunate that they are over reacting here. Just my two cents.
  9. I think when I turn 21, ill spend it here so I can really enjoy Epcot! Great photos! Hope yall dont get too drunk!
  10. Blackstone is facing competition from Blackstone who was previously facing competition from Blackstone. It looks like the economy is looking up though, with all of these companies ready to reinvest capital!
  11. Is your mine train inspired by the Dalonegah Mine Train at SFoG? Anyhoo, it looks really neat! the layout is a true mine train layout. I would suggest maybe the dirt/grass land underneath some of the turns, with some shrubbery thrown in for good measure!
  12. Since its Canada, you need to have a RUSH ride, such as "Red Barchetta" or "Anthem". You could at least have a Lakeside Park... But your coasters are a Caress of Steel.
  13. RIP Ron Toomer. Thank you so much for creating happiness for me and millions of others. May Magnum XL-200 stand as a lasting memorial for your contributions to this great industry!
  14. It looks like the Mouse and the Fox still like sleeping with each other... (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Countless 20th Century Fox films on Disney, Fox Family---->ABC family, Narnia, Immagineers staying at the 20th Century Fox studios when Disneyland was being built) This can only mean great things! They could move the Petting Zoo/Conservation station to Camp Minnie-Mickey area. (Festival of the Lion King would fit the theme well) And put Pandora back there! And build a monorail to shuttle people back there!
  15. Okay, I was at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia. It was night, and my dad and I were riding Cheetah. Now this is not the smoothest CCI by anymeans... Well this large buxom woman yelled at the Brake Run: "I LOST MY BOOB!!" And the entire train said "What?" And, seriously, it looked as she had lost a boob! I mean she was lopsided... I was kinda taken aback as I was only 10 at the time...
  16. A quick update From inside the park: Everything is going terrific! The backstage tours were a fantastic way to get some exclusive pictures! Park is CROWDED!!! Its a good thing I got a flash pass! The chicken and BBQ lunch was yummy and so was the ICE CREAM!!! We haven't already hit the halfway point of the day, and it has already been worth every cent! Absolutely cannot wait for tonight!!! I'll post a Photo TR next week some time! To all those traveling out of town, welcome to my Home park! I'm proud to call it home!
  17. Packing as soon as I leave the college today... I plan to be there right at 7:30. Saturday traffic coming down 85 through Atlanta (Coming from South Carolina) is pretty light. Now I gotta bring a bag so I can change after the water challenge!
  18. Rush. Others that come close: Yes. Genesis. ELP. Pink Floyd. REM. B-52's. Wall of Voodoo. (Who else have heard of these guys?) Aerosmith. Talking Heads. The Police. Foo Fighters. Death Cab for Cutie. Foster the People. Rolling Stones. Peter Gabriel. Van Halen. Adele. The Killers. Nazareth. Molly Hatchet. Supertramp. Im only 18.
  19. Ill need to bring another shirt with me... Finally, ill be able to experience a splashdown on a wooden roller coaster!
  20. Great report! I love the space program! and I love these reports! Maybe there could be another Aeronautics themed update soon... Maybe something from Polk County... One that could inspire "Fantasy" while still covering "Flight" Oh and +1 for the Paul Simon reference
  21. Scream Machine with the lights is amazing at night! I can't imagine what Mindbender will.be like!
  22. AJ used Rage, Its Super Effective! I guess its charm came from it being such a good family coaster. Its a great transition from that to say AC or Griffion or even Alpie.
