I feel more air time with these restraints. I like the lay out, kind of a MForce meets Maverick kind of deal. I cant wait for that first turn and hill! -

There would just be a bar sticking out from under your seat, and the lap bar would connect to that. B&M could pull it off, but I don't know aesthetically pleasing it would be. Especially the front row. -

SFNO/Jazzland Discussion Thread

Well I want to be, but for something like this, its good not to get your hopes up. You may argue that the demand for a park is too great; Let me give you an example... I live on the Northeast side of Metro Atlanta, where the majority of the middle and upper class citizens live in the Metro area. You think there would be enough demand for a second park in Atlanta (Six Flags can be a real hassel with traffic, also is in a bad neighborhood). Well any plans for a park (or a park like project) over here have died many times in the stages that SFNO is in now. Im still waiting on that Great Wolf Lodge.lol. The demand might be there, but the management is not. Which is the case with SSA and numerous projects for my side of Atlanta. Nick "Wants a Park on Lake Lanier" Wells -

Nickelodeon gets on board. So what? That area will probaly turn into a work live play type development. Maybe an outlet mall, who knows, but a rebulit theme park there that wasnt even sucessful in the firstplace, probaly is not the best Idea. -

So if this coaster is the rumored 350 feet, this would (to my best knowladge) the tallest non launched or tradional coaster in the world. And if it is, Cedar Fair will shove it down our throats. -
I Know Walt Disney World lets you ( I always asked!) on Test Track, Barnstormer, BTRM, Dinosaur and even Everest. Always ask. Its just out of respect of the people that help make your day better

Carowinds Discussion Thread

Well maybe its taking the Goliath approach, having to put the turnaround outside of the park. I sure hope its a Hyper Twister. Carowinds is much closer than Six Flags Great America. -
District Nine does not look to good to me atleast. Not a big fan of Cloverfield type movies. But Inglorious Bastards comes out this weekend and I am definately going to go see that!

Best way to do Cedar Point...

Best way to do Cedar point... Stay at the Breakers. Go the day you get there with the twilight ticket. Hit all of the Big Ones (MF, Mav, TTD) Go to MF at about 1 hour to 45 min to close and see if you can beat my record of 9 straight rides (If you are lucky, you wont have to run around, you will be able to go through the handicap entrance) Go get some sleep or grab a snack at TGI Fridays. Next Day, get in one hour early, and Hit TTD for breakfast (if its cool out then this is the best time for a rollback) then hit Maverick and then do what you please! Thats the best way to do Cedar Point! -

I highly doubt that! In this fat free world of ours, its probably going to be a low fat subsitute splashdown (with much chagrin from the ACErs out there). -
Carowinds Discussion Thread
PriestofSyrinx replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I had always (especially when I went there for the first time) thought that there would be a special clause for Carowinds from both states ( I.e. split every thing 50/50 including taxes and permits. But I guess the bureaucrats think that would be too easy. Anyhoo, I guess those gray supports are for the station/final brake portion. ( atleast thats what got built first with Dimondback) -

Rush has produced the greats works in music that span from "Fly By Night" to "2112", "Farewell to Kings", "Hemispheres", "Permanent Waves". "Moving Pictures", "Signals", "Power windows" and their latest effort, "Snakes and Arrows" Rush consists of a Man named Geddy that sings like a woman, and plays bass like a black man. And he's good on keyboards too. A Man, Named Alex who is the "Son of Life" and plays the six string like no one else (Eddie Van Halen once said he wants to play like Alex) An a Professor named Neil, who can play Drums better than your favorite drummer. oh and he's a great Lyricist. These three for a group that deserves to be in the Same conversation with Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, and all of the other bands that are considered to be Immortal.
