  1. Had to dig up some STP too. "Sex Type Thing"
  2. 1. Facebook - Even though it's becoming increasingly annoying, I'm online every day. I mainly lurk, following friends a bit and keeping up with a few pages and groups (entertainers, companies and events). I still don't post or interact much. 2. Twitter - It finally "clicked" with me. I pay attention to a select few people, post mainly uninteresting thoughts (a bit journal-like), do an occasional RT, and interact a bit with bands or brands (only positive/quasi-clever stuff so far). 3. Instagram - I have an account; I don't use it, but am quietly debating whether to start or just not bother. I lurk a few strangers and small businesses; I should probably start following them to make it a bit easier. 4. Youtube - I'm by no means a fan, and don't make use of my account, but I'm slightly more apt to search and watch videos than I used to be. I never comment. 5. Tumblr - Don't use it; don't like it, but will rarely browse a page or keyword I find through Google, 'cause it's there. 6. Snapchat - Don't care about and don't use.
  3. "Southern Man" - Neil Young
  4. "Down by the River" - Neil Young
  5. "That Old Gang of Mine" - Paul Eakins' Big Organ, as seen at the Gay 90's Village
  6. #1 is definite...like the rest of y'all who've ridden it, it's Dodonpa. Before my first ride in the front row, I was petrified. Before my second ride in the second row, I was once again terrified. Reflecting on it now (no video or Wikipedia skimming, just thinking), my palms are just a tad shiny. For all the park does (or has historically done) wrong, they sure get the psychological thrills of this ride right, but even without that, the launch and even the airtime pop are unmatched. #2: Top Thrill Dragster. Another one of the few rides that genuinely intimidates me, not just sporadically, but every time. #3 is probably Kingda Ka. It may not be the "best"; it's certainly far from the best ride, but the intensity is there. Another one that was on the edge of too intense for me is Maverick's main launch; anyone agree? Especially on my first-ever riding session; it's not quite the same for me now, but still way up there.
  7. Nice to hear some good news from the park! I'm glad these little spinners are a hit; I'm all for gimmicky (in a good way, in this case) kiddie coasters as a step up from our usual credits, and a little extra excitement for kids and families.
  8. Here's my incredibly insightful answer! 1. No 6. Not at all 7. Neither; but of the two, I'd take 4K. (And yes, I've actually talked about this with folks, so I'm not just an oblivious technophobe...pretty close, though!)
  9. I totally remember that. "Parchment Farm" - Blue Cheer
  10. "Someone Like You" - Adele
  11. Yes. They've always been well-curated and I like how it seems like everyone has a chance to be featured and that a wide variety of news, reports and topics are included.
  12. ^ I just backed out of a concert I had tickets for (thankfully I hadn't yet invited anyone), and am defecting to another show that night. It was between bands I've collectively seen 6 times plus another band I really like, or a band I've seen once plus two bands I like a little/am slightly curious about. I'm sure I've made the more expensive but ultimately best choice.
  13. Yes! Have you ever been bitten by a praying mantis?
  14. How is my street like Magnum XL-200? They're both sinking.
  15. "Killing Season" - Twiztid
  16. "Divine Horseman" - The Flesh Eaters
  17. ^I was busy putting it out, duh. Do you think I wanted to be this guy? "Now my mom will ALWAYS do my laundry for me!"
  18. I set my washing machine on fire.
  19. "Slow An' Easy" - Whitesnake
  20. A creme soda from New York Seltzer. I like creme soda a lot, and the brand seems popular, but it was really just "okay."
  21. To be honest, I didn't even realize he had still been alive. I guess I was just clueless as to his age and exactly when he was famous.
  22. I'm definitely at a point where ranking is frustratingly cumbersome, even though I've done what I can to make it easier on myself: strictly ranking wood and steel separately, seriously limiting the coasters I bother to rank, and keeping track of everything on CoasterCounter. But I still think it's worth keeping up, particularly since there are still many quality coasters I have yet to ride which could really shake things up. To emphasize the tentativeness, here are my lists without numbers, but still in approximate order. 10 best wood coasters Boulder Dash Voyage Coaster (Playland) Phoenix Giant Dipper (SCBB) American Thunder El Toro (SFGAdv) Timber Terror Outlaw Run Tremors 10 best steel coasters Maverick Iron Rattler New Texas Giant Dodonpa (new) Kawasemi (new) Top Thrill Dragster Phantom's Revenge Eejanaika (new) X2 Lightning Run Notes: --Yes, it pains me to have two coasters from Fuji-Q in there, but the truth is the truth. --I finally downgraded X2 from #1 just to avoid the embarrassing risk of Eejanaika becoming #1, as I suspect Eejanaika is just a bit better--it's definitely smoother which is a major plus. --Kawasemi and Lightning Run really are very similar, with each being a little better in its own way, and the two being neck-and-neck in other regards. Kawasemi is definitely the closest I've ridden to being a simply "perfect" coaster, but a few small quibbles prevent it from actually deserving #1.
  23. Three visited/four total. United States (home country and residence) Canada Japan Mexico I've actually been in all four this year, thanks in part to a spur-of-the-moment trip to Mexico and a slightly more planned, yet still semi-impulsive journey to this country's hat.
  24. Great report and I await your next update! Enjoyed your sarcastic, yet ultimately respectful take on Conneaut Lake Park. If I don't get back there, that's life, but either way I seriously miss it and hope for the best. I didn't "get" Waldameer and its rides the way most people seem to, but I'm not baffled by the love, either, and Comet is a little gem. They certainly have a good thing going and I'll be happy to return someday.
  25. Why did I watch that, I'm pretty sure I accomplished exactly nothing by doing so. .
