  1. Somehow I was once crowned an honory member of a Rollback Crew on Kingda Ka...even though I wasn't there for the incident. I've watched TTD roll back once or twice, though... Are you envious of other people's coaster breakdown/evac experiences?
  2. Last year? Astros at Minute Maid Park or whatever it's called. When was the last time you held a baby?
  3. No, I'm a monoglot. I'm tryin'a learn more Spanish because most of my coworkers are fluent in it. Have you ever been in a place where you were 100% unable to use your native language to communicate?
  4. No, they all died. I can't have any pets right now, but I have a cat friend who I sometimes chat with on my way to work. Have you recently tried a food or cuisine for the first time?
  5. "A Minute To Pray, A Second To Die" - The Flesh Eaters Can't stop playing this vinyl. Probably won't until I get my favorite of theirs as an LP.
  6. "My Life to Live" - The Flesh Eaters. Favorite band...second favorite album?
  7. Yeah, between the cat, the people, the cows, the ponies, and this one particular person...I've had a few reasons to smile today. Have you frowned today?
  8. "Hurricane" - The Band of Heathens. Makes my blood run cold...
  9. No. I think my last actual Walkman was a radio cassette player...my last portable CD player lasted 'til sometime in high school. Do you like a band or music style that people would expect you to hate judging by your other tastes?
  10. "She's Like Heroin to Me" - The Gun Club. Oh, Jeffrey Lee Pierce...oh, Fire of LOVE!
  11. Yes, I have a couple but I'm planning on more! Need to work my next one into my budget and figure it out! Do you have a Keurig?
  12. "Blue Eyes Blind" - ZZ Ward
  13. Tesla on Saturday night. It was the final night of the tour and my first time seeing them, after I'd been trying to track them down for at least a couple years. They often tour with Def Leppard, but I'd been wanting to see them headline in a smaller venue, and I finally got my wish at a packed, sold-out show filled with enthusiastic fans. I'm actually not a huge fan of their music overall--I'm just devoted to and almost creepily obsessed with my favorite songs and, to a lesser extent, a handful of others. The show was phenomenal! So many details I could comment on that made it an exciting and dynamic experience. The band is impressively professional--and not in a way that takes away from the fun or uniqueness of the live show. Disappointingly, they were unable to play "Paradise," one of my top favorites, because they bought a piano from Walmart and it was broken. Lots of people, like me, were unhappy about that, but with a band like Tesla a tease over a missing song can't put a damper on the night. There was at least one moment where my jaw hit the floor over Frank Hannon's slide playing, and I found myself both recognizing and singing along to more lyrics than I'd expected throughout the show. Hard rock/metal band Love and War opened the show, and they were enjoyable as well. Also, I got picks from Frank Hannon and Dave Rude!
  14. About a month ago for reasons unrelated to the job; last August for a job that was insufferably terrible. When's the last time you visited a coaster counting website?
  15. Saturday morning! I ordered a meal and then someone gave me an extra of the same side. When was the last time you went inside a bank?
  16. The Great White cover of The Angels' "Face the Day" (both are recommended, by the way). I would choose a skippy vinyl over a perfectly functional CD that I spent much more money on...wouldn't you?
  17. I'm honestly not sure what it does with its time, it could be unemployed for all I know...I mean, yes. Yes it is. Do you prefer vinyl records over other formats?
  18. I burned myself this afternoon...there's a lumpy red oval on my arm now. Does that count? When was the last time you listened to music from a CD?
  19. "Woman Hell" - The Flesh Eaters
  20. Well...Raising Cane's is an awful company, so that's out... I only eat seafood at Popeye's, and I'm long-term sick of it; at least get the same thing from a local place. I hate myself for feeling this way, but Chick-fil-A (still don't know how to spell this) IS amazing. It just is. I mean maybe it's just that I haven't tried equivalent meals from competitors, but it's surprisingly good to this person who's only recently developed a slight taste for chicken. The basic sandwich is good enough, but I relish the spicy #2, plain with the pepper jack. Not a fan of KFC, but that's more the whole not loving chicken thing (want burger)...
  21. Yupprz. Especially (fresh-caught? wild-caught? I mean non-commercial) tuna that tastes like the ocean. Do you get made fun of for any of your food preferences or favorite foods?
  22. Yes, but nothing dramatic. Mini-evac on Coaster, evac on Firechaser Express, stuck on Medusa and Grizzly and probably just a few others. Have you quit any social media accounts in the past year?
  23. [Just seeing this now] I hope the new owners will improve the park, since I've heard mainly discouragingly terrible reviews of the place. Haven't they been starting to improve Indiana Beach after the slump brought on by the previous owner(s)? At any rate, hopefully this will increase my interest in actually visiting the park.
  24. Stoked about the wooden coaster! I'm glad I'll have a reason to return to that area. I miss the rough-around-the-edges charm of Old Town, but I'm happy that Fun Spot (this park and the company) are going strong! And I love me a compact woodie layout.
  25. Wow! Very fun, memorable park for me. Happily went there twice, in fact!
