  1. We have a coaster that used to be at BGW? Wow never knew that! Oh now that I think about it, it is that one up in new market that always taunts me as I go by it.
  2. I hope it will get set up because small parks do have a chance of delaying reconstruction until the ride is in such bad shape it will not be worth it. For whatever reason (soil problems, not enough money, space issues). However I think it is likely it will be built and will bring in huge profits for the park! I wonder when it will be onsite?
  3. ^^ It was open in the fall last year so I doubt they would keep it closed then. Also back then it had little downtime when I was at the park in late October. I don't really like waterparks much but as long as they don't take out any of the coasters (other then Sidewinder) I'm fine with this.
  4. Six Flags Great Adventure- April 9th (Already been there) Morey's Piers- Sometime in May Hershey Park- June 1st Knoebels- Sometime in June Six Flags America- ? Not many as of now but I have these buy one get one free tickets to SFA so I might be going there if I can find time. Cannot wait for Knoebels just to see how the Phoenix stacks up to Toro.
  5. Wood: El Toro Steel: Nitro I really need to get on more coasters.
  6. Yep it does but it is an SLC! One of the most painful ones too! As for Orochi I would like to see it go to a smallish park, any small park really because it could put it on the map!
  7. ^ I think that a coaster that big could be good if they just got the right people to build it, if they got Gravity Group to build a hyper wooden coaster I bet it could be good with plenty of airtime and with the Timberliner trains it might not tear up the track as much. The problem with Son of Beast is that it was built by RCCA and had bad trains.
  8. I go to Hershey (I live closer to Hershey then SFA) about 2-3 times a year. Sometimes less.
  9. I really like Pibb Extra but it does just not have that taste of Dr Pepper. Maybe it's me but I like Pepsi products for some reason. Also I may be stepping on some people toes here but if there ever was a soda that tasted horrible it is Vault! I mean it is just tastes like cardboard to me and I hate the aftertaste, it just is not very good.
  10. Sooperduperlooper at Hershey park. The loop is great but after that it becomes a big mine train.
  11. I have always wondered what Goliath is, I know it is a Intamin Mega coaster but is it just a smaller version of SROS? Or is it a custom version? Thanks! Nice trip report and I hope they have the boomerang up and running soon because I have hear those new trains make one heck of a difference in terms of pain. (In a good way)
  12. Hello I'm Wild 1 and have been reading TPR since september and I love it! I like coasters and like finding out how they work but riding them is fun too! My home parks are Hershey and Six Flags America (I prefer Hershey) and my favorite coaster is El Toro. I also am a park designer in RCT2 but I post most of my parks on the Atari Forums though I have a few I will post here also!
  13. I picked Schwartzkopf because without them we would not have the vertical loop! Also the fact that most of their coasters only have lapbars helps.
  14. Nice trip report! You should have just done what I do to people who do not want to ride coasters, tie them up and throw them on the thing! Not really but I agree on superman, it is really boring unless you ride in the front and Rolling Thunder was running just as bad when I went. Glad you did not miss out on that!
  15. Nice to hear you had a great time! I was there on thursday and it was packed, so glad you got to go on a none crowded day!
