Different parks will do different things. Carowinds is putting out teasers, KD got the track in the parking lot. Think about it, the track shows up 2+ months before vertical construction. As BeemerBoy pointed out, that is enough of a teaser.

You know you can't exactly see the whole ride from the walkways right? Not to mention inside the station/transfer track building. Just because your "source" didn't see anyone for an hour doesn't mean they weren't working.

For anyone interested Nik Wallenda will be doing his sky walk thing on a line from the Eiffel Tower to the front gate on Sunday August 9.

Since I have Monday through Wednesday off next week I am trying my best to plan a trip. Either Six Flags New England and Lake Compounce or just go to Dollywood. Either trip I decide I shouldn't be disappointed.

If I am correct I think the nearest hotel is about 15-20 minutes away. My only advice is to start out with Superman since that is a low capacity ride.
