  1. Did the ride break any records?
  2. Frosted Flakes are so delicious when they're soggy.
  3. How far away is KI from Cincinnati? KD is pretty much located in "middle of nowhere" territory where the closest towns are your typical interstate exits with the typical food, gas, lodging choices. Fredericksburg and Richmond are about the same distance away (20-30 minutes) and DC is 90 miles north. Those areas are far more developed. EDIT: Using Google Maps, it looks like KI's sorta on the fringe of Cincinnati's sprawl while KD's in the middle of nowhere, which might explain why KI's area is more developed than KD's.
  4. The theming elements that this ride is gonna have will amp the price up a few million. A $50 mil budget gives me high hopes that this will be themed about as close to Disney/Universal as the park can get.
  5. The footers from BBW's last turnarounds (going into the station) will be reused as well. Chances are all the old footers from the finale over the river to the station belonged to BBW.
  6. ^ From what I've heard, it's a capacity deal. It takes time for people to stick things into lockers/cubbies and it's better for capacity to have guests place their bags in front of them/in pouches than for them to set them off to the side. On top of that, it would be a pain to have to step over tons of bags when you leave a ride (which may pose a trip hazard) on top of possible chances that someone else picks up your stuff. Plus most of their coasters aren't very aggressive to begin with so you don't have to deal with stuff flying all over the place. I can't say anything about the cameras though. It could be the potential for free advertising (people post POVs online to showcase their rides/attractions and entice others to come?)
  7. Just an observation, but space shot towers didn't really come in until the mid-late 90s. Intamin gen 1 Freefalls are pretty much the only ones that I know of that existed at the time until the gen 2 models came out. I really enjoyed your original park concept and I'm kinda sad to see it go. Personally I'm more of a fan of creating your own park chain or using another brand, but I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store.
  8. They're all in the US *Edit* Chris actually won something! Congratulations!
  9. That was quick! Can't wait for the final round! Good luck Chris and Chad!
  10. Looks like I was off by a few seconds. Chain park?
