  1. Got a new longest steel coaster for you guys. Warrior - Arcadia Length: 8,081 feet (630 feet longer than FtR) EDIT: Oops, forgot Timberliner. Timberliner - Baylands Length: 6,569 feet
  2. Update time! Massive addition to Arcadia! _____________________________________________________________ August 31st - Today marks the opening day of CDI's secret project at Arcadia - Warrior. 8,081 feet of steel, 93 miles per hour, 275 feet in the air. Designed by Intamin AG, this record-breaking giga coaster is 630 feet longer than previous record holder, Six Flags Majestic Lake's Flash: The Ride. Train #1 reaches the top of the 275 foot tall cable lift. When at the bottom of the first drop, the train hits 93 mph. Hill #2 of an incredible 19. The turnaround can be seen from all over the park. Trains fly past in a high-speed turn. A turn directly into a drop, bringing the coaster along the river. Another turnaround! Flying over the path, guests can watch the coaster directly above them. The coaster dwarfs Eclipse across the pathways. Another path flyover. Ripping past the station and queue lines. The final section of the coaster, a mass of twisting track in the woods. Coaster stats and overview. You can clearly see how Warrior stands over much of the park. Comments and critisim welcome, as always!
  3. I say this multiple times. There is a XP hibernator that allows you to run your computer on XP WITH!! windows 7. There's a button that instantly changes your computer to XP. Just google it. It's called partitioning, and you have to install XP, etc for it to work, it's not as simple as clicking a button.
  4. I noticed the "McDonalds" thing too. Just didn't mention it.
  5. Baylands Announces New Rides Fremont, CA - The Creative Designs Inc. owned Baylands Park announced "massive expansion plans" yesterday afternoon. Aside from the usual flat rides, CDI announced "a record breaking roller coaster" and an "innovative dual-tracked enclosed ride" of some sort. Details surrounding the two rides are foggy. Speculations for the enclosed ride include thoughts of a high capacity "haunted mansion" style ride, or an enclosed roller coaster, no one is sure what the ride will be. The roller coaster is a different story. Large amounts of tree clearing had been reported in the last few weeks, but no track was spotted yet. CDI announced a "record breaker" but no details as to what record. More to come soon!
  6. Creative Designs Incorporated - Press Conference Palm Bay, FL - CDI Executives announced today that Arcadia, which hasn't gotten a new ride of any sort for at least two seasons, will be receving a new ride of some sort within the next month. Other rumors include a concept drawing that surfaced a week ago, the drawing depicted a large roller coaster of some sort. In relation to a similar concept drawing of Adventure Shore's Power Tower sets the coaster at in the 200+ foot range. CDI also announced plans to "expand the sphere of our parks's influence".
  7. Anyone have vertical B&M custom supports? Much appreciated!
  8. I didn't see a single tree, you DEFINATELY need some. Especially some around that area where Rattler goes underground.
  9. Yes he is, he mentioned that. Looks very nice so far!
  10. Well, I said it wasn't technically opened yet, now that it is, it can be put up.
  11. spunknit mentioned that the Self Check-Out will at least stay open for the time being.
  12. This coaster would be a lot better without the unrealistic transition barrel rolls, and if it had one lift hill instead of.. Eight? It is a cool concept though.
  13. The wait is FINALLY over! Baylands Park opened at 10:00 am this morning! New coasters such as Chimera, the Vekoma invertigo, were testing around 8:00/9:00. A Disk-O also resides in the "fairgrounds" section. S&S Tri-Towers complete the skyline. Tsunami is an incredible Intamin Blitz. It flies past awesome waterfalls and mountains. Unlike other Blitz's it only has one inversion - a surprise barrel roll! Final turn before the launch tunnel! Flying out over Baylands Lake! A few more turns and back to the station. More flat rides dot the area near the lakeside. A beautiful PTC out-and-back populates the lakeside as well! Meanwhile excited guests head for the main gates! Enjoy the update! Comments/critisim welcome!
