Finally! An update! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Arcadia, work has been done in the sections of land near Wildcat/Jungala. Wildcat was the only ride/attraction in the area for some time, and CDI decided to finally do some work in the vicinity. The first ride to be constructed was the "classic" haunted castle themed dark ride, dubbed The Castle of Phantoms. *CDI Apologizes for any inclement weather, partly due to tropical storm Bonnie. CDI also popped in a cleverly designed river raft ride, where instead of eight-person rafts, guests ride in single person barrel recreations (methusalem's pirate barrel ride) for a wild, wet ride! Two classic midway rides, a Bumper Cars and a double inverter ship snuck into the compact location next to Wildcat. On the shores near the Lancaster Bridge (The main monorail and pedestrian bridge from Arcadia - Sunset Beach/Typhoon Bay.) a small section of boardwalk was filled in with several shops (Boardwalk Eats and Oceanside Sweets) and games (Duck Catch, Target Practice and Panning for Gold) as well as a single drop tower (Seabreeze Screamer). Prizes can be exchanged at the Prizes Counter next to Target Practice. A park guest took this picture... Interesting. Meanwhile.. At the Arcadia/Adventure Shores border.. Hello, my name is Alan Sherman, I am the current CDI representitive for Adventure Shores Resort and Boardwalk. We are making progress at our location across the river from Arcadia. Unlike our "sister park" we will not have different themed sections, customary to most boardwalk parks. Although we hope to be larger than most, and just as - if not MORE - popular than Arcadia. Shall we move on to our pictures? This large building is the Adventure Shores Resort. A beautiful symetrical building with large rooms in each of the wings, as well as two sets of rooms on the sides above each entrance. The building also has an atrium in the center with seating and a bar. We are currently working on contracting for pool construction. A view of one of the entrances with the "Shoreside Gardens" in the lower right of the picture. The other side of the building with outdoor seating and wonderful views. The area around the other side is densely forested. The first floor of the hotel is full of shops and food, along with seating. The halls on the other floors are decorated in themes of different regions, (Asia, European, Mediterranean, Tropical, etc.) and cool views of the central atrium. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ That is all for this update! Comments and critisim are welcome, as always! Next update expect some announcements regarding rides and more!

One last little piece of information: Quote: Palm Bay, Florida: Creative Designs Inc., owners of Arcadia Adventure Park in Palm Bay, have announced they will be closing early this season. (Yes, I will be starting to actually close the park at the end of each season.) CDI has recently announced the purchase of land across the river from Arcadia. Rumors are that this will NOT be an expansion of Arcadia, but a whole different park (?) altogether. CDI also announced they will be updating their website with the beginning of the next season, along with updated prices and new ticket/pass options. Fun stuff.

Not sure if this was in the rides folder (actually, pretty sure it wasn't..) AE-BUSSTP (sp?). -
I like the coaster designs, except for two small details. 1. Bolt has ALOT of supports, especially on the back side, not sure how you could reduce that but I think it would look a bit better. 2. "Myrtle Magic" Creative name, although I would make sure to put in a wall under that "Begin your mission" sign, it will look better. Overall, I like your park(s)!

Not deterred at all! I figured out the problem by raising and making the original track visible. I had too many station sections overlapping. Such a simple mistake making such a large problem! I also managed to bypass the raising/lowering of the heartline track by doing exactly what goliath said, BUT, zero-clearancing and essentially building the dinghy slide in reverse with wooden track, then changing to HT track. Thanks so much for the assistance with not only this, but the other "How to" for making working waterslides!

Ok, I got everything lowered properly, and the ride works fine, until the last part where it should go into the splashdown and the invisible station. The ride reaches the end of "Dinghy Slide 2" then bounces off as if there was a wall, (See screenshot) and goes in circles. SCR152.BMP Note: The section of dinghy slide track you see in the splashdown was added after the same problem occured once. I thought it would help, and it didn't.

haha, thanks! Thanks! I know what you mean, management is looking into the issue. Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: Coasters, Resorts and Teasers Galore! Arcadia is becoming more popular than ever! The Main Street is still popular with the main information center and the Arcadia Bistro. Crowds gather here and at the fountains to enjoy a nice break from rides. A few buildings have been built in the area where Safari Zone was originally built, say, what is that in the background? Just across the "street" is a small park, titled "Country Hill" showcasing flags from many countries around the world. Over in Safari Zone, three new rides have been built, Bellsprout Twister, a scrambler ride, Rhydon Battle Arena, a bumper cars ride and Mudkip Coaster, a Vekoma Roller-Skater. (So I herd u liek mudkipz?) Mudkip Coaster is very popular. A new ride is also in the works. Head past the fountains and take a right at the Amusement Complex and you'll have reached Wildcat, a beautiful GCI Woodie, with twin turnarounds, and a double-up. Second drop and turnarounds: Double-up and an airtime hill: The final forested and twisted section: Also new to the park is the Arcadia Challenge Golf mini golf course. It has many challenging (actual obstacles!) and fun holes such as the pirate island, waterfall cove and industrial center! Note: This was actually just put in between Tyke Town and the Fountain Plaza, it turned out very well, IMO Another thing, here's the space I've used up: Here's what I have left. Any suggestions of what I should do over across the river? I'm thinking of doing a multiple park idea (Disney) but I'm wondering if anyone has some good ideas! I also have an overview of the Sunset Beach Resort. Hmm.. What have we here...? Comments and critisim welcome as always!

So far, the storyline is incredible, and I really like the carousel and whizzer. Keep up the good work! -
Update: Safari Zone The Safari Zone, themed to the colorful Pokémon anime has made its long awaited return. After being removed do to space and congestion issues, the area (or zone, I should say ) is back and better than ever! The "Red" entrance and the station of Typhlosion's Explosion, a large Intamin LIM launched coaster. TE's Top Hat: The exciting and twisted spaghetti bowl of track after the top hat: For some reason I think this area is quite scenic in this specific spot: TE to the left, in the center is a garden area and shops, to the right is Articuno's Flight. New rides are being planned and here you can see two of them. Two buildings, replicating a Pokémon Center and Pokémart have been built. The other "Blue" entrance, so far not connected to much. Teaser: (Location - Resort Island) As always, comments and critisim welcome!

Project S (RCT2)
CoasterCreator9 replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I once did a project for school and used RCT2 also. It worked well! -
Thanks, I know the water looks a little off, I tried working my way around that but there was not many options.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arcadia has finally constructed the long awaited "Indoor Amusement Complex" consisting of two ferris wheels, Sun-Up and Sun-Down Wheel, two motion simulators, a small Arrow corkscrew coaster in the center, Loop-The-Loop, and a round up ride, Whirlpool. The massive entrance building: Back side: The Great Bay Lake Skyway System (GBLSS) is a series of pathways and bridges above the lake in the park's center. Arcadia has also opened two new lands, the Enchanted Forest is one with a small railway, a coaster named Hidden Mountain, and a double inverter ride named Rage. Hidden Mountain Coaster: Note: I'm not too sure how I feel about this building, what do you guys think? The other "land" is Tyke Town. A scenic area for the younger guests, full of colorful and entertaining rides. Arcadia also erected a shuttle loop near one of the main entrances, named Electromagnetic Pulse, EMP for short. Tyke Town is home to numerous rides, such as a Frog Hopper, Bumper Cars, a Carousel, and many more. The section's main attraction is Airplane Fliers, a custom dark ride simulating flight with swinging cars and scenery depicting many different countries. Inside view: A relatively large refreshments building has also been designed, servicing Tyke Town and a nearby pathway. Here is an overview, as you can see there is ALOT of work to be done. Comments and critisim welcome as always!
