It wasn't until the age of 17 I got the testicle fortitude to get on my first ride. Before that I would always head to parks with my friends but would never get on a ride. I always had a fear that I would puke my guts out while riding or after I rode a coaster. The thing that finally got to me was seeing kids getting off with huge grins after they rode, which ultimately forced me to push myself to finally ride. Montezooma's Revenge was my first coaster and boy did I ever choose a good one for an ice breaker. From there forward I haven't looked back.

I wonder how long the passes are valid for, it would be funny if the passes were only valid the day of finishing the burrito eating feat. I can imagine Speed's station looking like RCT when all those little characters barf their guts out.

I'm actually starting to hate Manny now... What does this bloody guy want??? Sheeeezzz

You know I don't think I have ever introduced myself to TPR! Well I've been here for a couple of years now and I can honestly this has been the most informative and intriguing site pertaining to theme parks and rollercoasters. My name is Josue (That's Joshua in spanish but everyone calls me Josh) and am 23 years old. Born and raised in Los Angeles I currently work for the Los Angeles Superior Court near Dodger Stadium. I attend Cal State LA and LACC but I'm currently taking a break from school for a bit. I play the saxophone and drums for my church but my main instrument is the drums. I have a link to our band's myspace in my signature if anyone would like to take a peek. (But songs are in spanish sorry) I've been with my girlfriend for over 5 years now and wedding bells are soon approaching so I'm just saving as much as I can before the big day comes. WCB 2009 will be my first TPR event so am looking forward to meeting people from this site and so be afraid to say hi... See you guys at the bash! Peace

That's great to hear. Last time my girlfriend missed out due to its closure but I'm glad that we can ride it on our next visit if it remains open.

Hey I saw there's a "generate banner" at the bottom of our profile page. I tried to use it but when I clicked on "generate" it tells me am not a TPR member and am signed in. I wonder if I was secretly banned...

^I agree, Dodger management is pretty much a dud with their operations. And signing Orlando Houston will probably do diddle squat for us this season, but I hope I'm wrong. And yes our saving grace is are weak division that we are currently in... I need Manny to sign soon so Dodger Blue can run rampant through my veins!

^^^ Yea no one gave a serious bid for Manny other than the Dodgers, but I was a tad nervous of some club popping out of the blue to offer Manny a deal. I heard that if the deal were to go through they would probably wait until Friday to announce it for some reason.

^ If you only knew how I'm keeping my eyes open for the words "finalized" on this contract agreement. Dodgers got lucky no one else jumped in and got Manny sooner. I just hope Manny comes to play and does not start acting like he did his last year in Boston. Just twiddling my fingers until this thing goes through

Yea I forgot that All Star weekend already past so for sure we're more than half way in the season. I saw that their next 2 games are against the Kings and the Bobcats. Just to give Clipper nation a little bit of love I hope they win those next 2 games and get a little streak going to save some face from this season.
