I just realized that this park has longer operating hours than sfmm
-
Looks like you had a pretty good day, but there is no way in hell you can find Termy average and enjoy Colossus, it just doesnt work that way! Haha you seem very new to SFMM though, because most of the rides that you said had no line never do have lines Lol (except on bad days)

B&M vs Intamin
atem122 replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Haha I don't actually think the suspended coaster was the greatest innovation, I was just using that to prove the point that B&M didn't really pioneer the inverted coaster -
Skara Sommarland Discussion Thread

^Haha I was just about to say that! It does look very similar to X2's trains, but this does look like an ideal family ride, it's a great new experience that even little kids can handle. I'm pretty sure adults would also really enjoy this ride too -
I honestly never knew this place existed, it looks like a really good small park though (except for the vekomas everywhere ) I'm amazed at how many coasters and water slides that place can afford. Plus the tiger show looked like an added bonus

Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride
atem122 replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Yes and no, I mean sure the park would probably look worse off, but if the park scares away the teenagers, it's as good as dead. As annoying as these people are, they are the ones that keep sfmm alive. Crap this is the Terminator thread, any word on if they're gonna re modify the front of the trains with something lighter? ( ) -

I think they were scrapped because they made the train too heavy in the front, who knows if we'll see them turn up somewhere else -

The only problem I could see with that idea is a huge attendance drop. Honestly it'll take a long amount of time for sfmm to become a family park, it is so cal's coaster park which attracts teens. If these teens (who I also hate) decide to stop going, then sfmm's current major audience is gone. -

^I was also thinking that, hopefully after like the first one or two rides they'll let us skip them -
B&M vs Intamin
atem122 replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If the B&M invert is one of the greatest innovations, then does that mean that the Arrow suspended is THE greatest? I mean sure B&M can do much more with their inverted rides, but Arrow was the real pioneer behind the inverted/suspended coaster -
I've seen Tatsu's train like that before, hell I saw V2's (sfdk) train completely dismantled and organized into piles of corresponding parts last December EDIT: All west coast people, vote for Tatsu in the tournament of thrills on Six Flag's facebook page, we can't let that over trimmed Raging Bull beat us, properly trimmed RB would be acceptable, but not over trimmed!

TPR's Termination Day! Sunday, June 28th, 2009

Do we need to pay for the shirt in advance too? Cause it'd be kinda hard to convince my parents to shell out another five bucks for a shirt (we're kinda cheap ) -

TPR's Termination Day! Sunday, June 28th, 2009

Registered this morning, I'm super excited about this, is there any way that we can pay for the TAKE THE TUNNEL shirt AT the event rather than online or mail? Cause my parents would need to pay for it if it was only online/mail, and I don't think they would. I'd rather just save up my money and get a shirt sneaky style Edit: Not sure if it's been asked, but where do we send the money if we used the check/payment option? -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

I know a coaster geek who thought that all woodies were made by Intamin (well rct3 geek) so that'd kinda be a toss-up between the gp thread and the tpr thread, even though he's not part of this site -

They'll most likely still be around a bit later tonight right? Cause I need to wait till my dad gets home, I guess driving to Valencia at 8:30 in the morning doesnt sound like a genius idea to my parents Edit: and what happens between 2 and 10? Just roam the park? -
