  1. Has anyone else noticed the loud ringing sound every time the ride makes a right turn? It has shown up in every POV too...anyone know what it could be?
  2. This is probably the worst yet most hilarious joke I've seen in a long long time. Congrats! Awesome start to the trip report though, Gardaland actually seems really nice!
  3. That sideways airtime hill looks like it'll do wonders for your family jewels. But besides that, it looks pretty damn awesome. This coaster looks bat-s**t insane!
  4. I think it might actually be Scorcher...although I haven't personally seen the commercial. However, the new SFMM commercial also shows an additional stand up coaster in it, and it IS GS. Here's a picture of it for comparison: The "blue supports" is actually just one of Goliath's supports.
  5. After all of the media hype, I'm glad the Americans were able to deliver the true U.S. soccer experience today
  6. This. is. the. coolest. thing. ever. Captain Lee really sounds like a cool guy. And those tiger cubs were so freaking cute! I can't believe he'd let you do all of this. That's awesome!
  7. ^Are you sure SFNE has no B&Ms? I think Chang should go to Great Escape. Just to f*** with everybody.

  9. I really wouldn't put too much thought into it...Georgia Scorcher (with blue supports) shows up in the new SFMM commercial. Also, I didn't even see Chang in that video posted, I did see GASM though... SFMM Commercial on Facebook
  10. ^While you are 100% right, the way airtime affects you depends on the restraint. I think that's the point he's trying to get at.
  11. Oh. my. god. I totally remember that Griffith Park train from when I was like 5! It used to be one of my favorite things to go to. That and Travel Town, man. Thanks for bringing back a childhood memory of mine!
  12. I traveled down le conte today. ...as in a street in Westwood (next to UCLA)
  13. I was just at the beach yesterday, and you can probably use up a lot of time there. I spent somewhere around 4-5 hours there (without the pier or a real lunch really) and it was all fun. The only difference is that I was with a huge group of people. However, if you walk a couple blocks up from the Pier, you'll find yourself on the Third Street Promenade. Third Street is probably one of the cooler areas in LA, it's a 3 block long outdoor shopping mall. It even has a movie theater! So if you have time to kill, you can watch a movie there if you want. There are also usually a bunch of street performers, and it's an all around fun atmosphere. Although if shopping isn't your thing, there are a bunch of places along the beach where you can rent a bike and ride along the beach path, which is always fun to do. Hope this helps!
  14. With women...er I mean coasters like that, I really need to go to a German media day! Kidding aside, great coverage, Hanno! Your pictures are always amazing.
  15. Testing: Found these on www.coastercrazy.com It looks like they took out that one wooden beam that literally would've been a head chopper
  16. ^Rumor has it that one of Riddler's Revenge's trains was sent away to be used as Chang's 3rd train at its new home
  17. Being a Clippers fan...I couldn't agree more. Congrats to the f***ing Lakers.
  18. Please take pictures of everything. That Millennium Force picture was quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen. I bet you could sell that to CP. PTRs are so much better when they have utterly amazing photos like these.
  19. It appears as if Six Flags really is starting to abandon the family idea. Well at least in their advertising. As I got off the bus from school today, I saw a billboard saying, "More Coasters. More Fun."
  20. Yes. I used to be really afraid of people knowing about my nerdyness, but once I got to high school, I became more open about it, and I'm still by far the coolest kid in school. It's actually been pretty good though, nobody thinks of me weirdly (or at least to my face), and I've actually met a senior who wants to be a coaster designer through being a nerd.
  21. It's not quite a dive loop, but a half of a zero g roll into a half loop might be a cool idea.
  22. This night is insomnialicious.
  23. New at SFMM: A...soda machine? -SFMM's Facebook page I also suppose that this means Studio 6F is open Does anyone know what makes this so special?
  24. The "KFC" pot clinic near my house that inspired the South Park episode has been forced to close down
