Finally, the Chargers looked like what they should look like today. I'm just pissed that SD couldn't sell out its freaking home opener!

Pumps are when the track suddenly jolts. And it happened a lot. The way I TRY *note, TRY* to get rid of em is cutting the 2 segments next to the pump in half, and then deleting the pumpy point and smoothing it. But it doesn't work amazingly well. -

I have to say that I loved the idea of it, but the execution of it wasn't very good. First off, the track work definitely needs a lot of help. The ride had tons of really bad pumps, and the heartlining was pretty bad at some points (although I also suck at making smooth and heartlined rides. High five!). As for the supports, some were fine, but others really didn't look very good. The tophat needs more support both vertically, and needs more beams extending outward to stabilize it. It looks like it'd fall over. But yeah, I have to say that if it didn't have those problems, I'd really love the ride. -
Cd Onride videos- which coasters?

I don't believe Xcelerator has onride cameras anymore after the accident. Unless they added them after late July, that is. -
The thing is though, it's not just breaking in anymore...it worked all summer, and now it didn't work. And as for Show Passes, we went into DCA at 10, and the line for them was like 5 minutes. Although we got the Red section, which I'm assuming is the last section to be assigned as it's the worst. But I'm not confident on that. Not sure how long they were giving out passes, but you're not really going to have to wait in a horrendous line for them anymore.

^There's another wall poster that says that there's a "lush" park coming in 2011 Also, I went to DCA yesterday, and besides pretty much everything being blocked off by construction walls, there was also another *slight* disappointment: World of Color. Don't get me wrong, I'm just being nitpicky, plus, I still LOVE WoC. However, all day, the stage was up at its maintenance level...and it just looks really dirty and ugly, definitely not something a Disney park should just have in plain sight. They really need to fix that stage. Plus, when I saw WoC, I was in the Red Section, which really sucks. You can barely see any of the projections, and a lot of the action gets blocked by superfluous fountains. On top of that, a decent amount of the fountains weren't quite working, especially the one at the opening where it's the only fountain going off. Also, the inflatable projection screens never went up during the show, so IDK what happened to that effect. However, even without those, the show is still amazing. Plus, I don't really care that those things weren't working since they really didn't enhance the show or anything. It's just really stupid to see Disney spend x amount of money on something and have it not work. Maliboomer destruction update for those lame enough to care: All of the ride vehicles are gone already, some just have their frame remaining. It'll be interesting to see how they pull of its destruction.

The Official TPR Bag of Crap Thread!
atem122 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So when my sax lesson started, my mom told me that there was a package for me. I immediately assumed that it was the 1-800-Contacts box that I had seen on my way in (still, a VERY fine package). However, as I walked out, I was pleasantly greeted by this (Any yeah, my photo editing skills are beast) I opened it up, and was immediately pissed off that all of my stuff must have somehow blurred in the mail. It looked cool, but cmon, how am I supposed to enjoy this?! For all you penthusiasts out there, my BoC came with two! Although I was very let down as I wasn't able to slay any dragons with it or do anything beyond writing and throwing it. Once again, a total ripoff. Then as a ventured further into my BoC, I noticed this origami paper. While the colors are definitely nice, it's definitely not NEARLY as wide of a color pallet as WoC. Total letdown. And finally, a SWSA tote bag with 2 cupholder spots. Who do you guys think I am?! Some kind of fatty! Why would I need two cupholders?! This was completely offensive. And that's not a smile...that's me so mad that my frown turned upside down. So couple that with 2 TPR mints, an Efteling pin, a Hershey Park patch, a Star Wars Days at Legoland Lego, a Visionland postcard, and a Bay Area Bash card, you have one VERY let down TPR member. I expect WAY more out of my free s**t!!! Okay, satire aside, thank you SO much, Robb and Elissa!!! The Bag of Crap is seriously awesome and definitely the best thing I'll EVER receive in the mail (and I've got an Arcade Fire T-shirt coming soon too!). This is definitely above and beyond what anyone has to do, so my deepest thanks to both of you! I'll be even more grateful once I unlock whatever powers the TPR pens are supposed to hold -
OK, that picture makes me SLIGHTLY erect. But yeah, I also share the sentiment that this thing is gonna collapse. I'll trust the engineers, but those over-banked turns REALLY look like they'll need extra bracing. Through an engineer's standpoint, hopefully, but most likely certainly those turns will hold, but from the common sense standpoint, the structure looks WAY too weak. I just hope that it doesn't scare the GP off from riding, because if I didn't know how much science went into coaster design, there's no way in hell you'd get me on that.

This makes me bummed to be going to DCA this week instead of another. There's really nothing to go there for beyond like GRR, ToT, Screamin, and Soarin. And even then, those aren't balls out amazing or anything (all right, maybe just a bit ). Definitely not a good time to be going to DCA. And Elissa, the current plan for the Maliboomer area is a park that's also a possible character meet and greet area. I've also read that they might be getting a Toy Story parachute drop sometime in the future...but I'm not certain on that one, PLUS it'd be a really bad idea figuring as they already have basically the same thing a short walk away.

HOW DARE YOU SUBMIT A PIPEDREAM!!!! YOUVE RUINED THE SANCTITY OF THE COASTER COMMUNITY!!!!! GAHHHHHHHHH THIS SERIOUS BUSINESS HAS BEEN DESTROYED. OK, seriously, it doesn't matter. It's not like anyone bases their life off of Screamscape rumors...and if they do...well...then I guess it's okay if they yell at you. Although, there's little to none chance of a Zac-Spin ever coming to SFMM. We already have a 4D coaster, and their capacity is utter crap!
