Tomorrow morning is the big day! Kennywood is announcing it's plans for a 2010 coaster. More details tomorrow! All I can say is it seems much more likely to be a steel coaster.

Kennywood is a great park in Pittsburgh that can easily be done in one day. I'd recommend it.

So it just got boxed up and sent out and no one knows where it's at? Hasn't it been gone for a few weeks now?

Does anyone know yet where the yellow B&M track ended up at?

From what I've seen they rotate the trains every season, so each train runs for two seasons and then spends a season on the transfer track.

I've only ridden one Morgan, and that's Phantom's Revenge. I of course love the coaster since it's probably the most adventurous design from Morgan.

I would recommend stopping at Kennywood. You'll probably be nearly pasing it between Hershey Park and Cedar Point. The park is great and can easily be done in one day. Here's a very recent and VERY good trip report for the park. Ehhem, "Pittsburgh" And what's this negative stuff about Pgh? This was an awesome trip report. You covered the park so well and captured almost every coner of the park in pictures. I'm really glad I now have a great Kennywood TR to show people Kennywood. Thanks!

That's really nice of them to do that, but I just don't see that fitting the title of a "Major Announcement" which was posted on the event flyer. I'm just hoping KP is good at surprises...

This is news to me. Proof? Well I dont have any written proof, it's just info that has ben tossed around as fact at KPConnection. Thats why you don't see Garfield walking around, and the Kiddieland bathrooms and the tunnel were painted over which had garfield on it. I believe the current contract has 2 or so years on it, giving time to rid the park of grafield finally.

^ Well Kennywood did not renew it's contract for Garfield so the Old Mill, or something like it is probably in the works in the next couple of years (thank god).

Partially why I somewhat mirrored Kumba, I love that coaster. Thanks for the input everyone! The transport wheels were kind of necessary even on the downhill brake run, for without them the train crawls around the turn into the station barely making it in. Please explain about the supports. I really try to make them the best I can.
