xChris125x replied to jbarner14's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks to everyone for helping us out! In just three days we've gotten 800+ responses from around the web. Unfortunately, we'll be capping the survey off at a thousand responses, so if you want to be heard post soon! We appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for the survey and for helping us reach our goal much quicker than expected. -

We're still in the process of solidifying the group, but once we have a project to show for (and a website to put it on) I think we would gladly post a link to our work. -

I'm part of the group as well. We really appreciate everyone's input. Please post any extra thoughts you may have. We will definitely read and consider them in addition to the survey. The survey is up for a month so we hope to get a broad range of ideas and opinions. Thanks again! -

I'm surprised Premier is keeping the same car design for Trans Studio after all the problems Sky Rocket has had at Kennywood. The side pads have had to be replaced multiple times and/or taped together from their flexibility and tendencey to break. Also, the leg room in the back row is really tight. Hopefully the rumor of newly engineered trains for Sky Rocket next year is true.

Yes, from what I hear the corkscrew has some serious floater air, which sounds awesome! I can't wait to ride it next week! -

Thanks! Yeah, I had been tweaking the track for so long that at some point I just had to consider it completed. I know it's not exact, but when the POV is run parallel with the real POV, it's very very similar and that had me satisfied. I'm having trouble saving the file with the car textures. I'm trying to get it up as soon as I can. -

The "cliffhanger" element on the drop was intentional from day one. Just looking at the overall shot of the coaster it is easy to see how much taller the hill is compared to the rest of the 1st half of the coaster. The trim is necessary for a safe and proper speed through the inverted tophat and zero-g roll. Making the hill extra tall also allows for a faster and more thrilling launch. -
