  1. SoB may suck as a whole, but the pre-lift is pretty good. You get a nice burst of speed coming off the drop.
  2. Now if only all trucks carried turkeys that big. That would satisfy my hunger for a whole day!
  3. LOL I like fish!!
  4. About $20 for 3 Rush albums on iTunes - A Show of Hands, Permanent Waves, and Power Windows.
  5. EYE don't know how funny this story is, but it's just oozing with vitreous humor.
  6. I'm pretty sure the Nighthawk restraints are close to the Firehawk ones. They are a shoulder-strap/vest-like restraint for the upper body, with a lapbar with ankle supports for the lower body. As far as weight, you should be fine, but its just hard to say for sure, as everyone's weight distribution is different. You should be fine on height, but I am not entirely sure. I'm around 5-10, and fit on Firehawk fine. Not sure exactly how tall is too tall for the Vekoma flyers, though.
  7. LOL my thoughts exactly. Those lapbars are really odd-looking. I know they will make the ride so much better than OTSR, but they just look really weird.
  8. Millennium Force front row is amazing, especially at night during HalloWeekends. Flying through the fog rolling off the Fright Zone is like nothing else. Maverick is ridiculous. Falling out of your seat is just donright scary the first time. Magnum XL-200 has a fun drop. Gradual, starts out slow, then really kicks it into high gear about halfway down. From the back row, though, getting thrown over the lift's crest is crazy.
  9. Dayton OH 27*F Freezing rain yesterday, followed by a decent amount of snow. I would guess there's about 1.5-2 inches on the ground right now. Possibly more later on today.
  10. American Land (Live) -- Bruce Springsteen
  11. Last week I was in Boston for my service fraternity's National Convention. While there, me and a few of my friends decided to visit the Sam Adams Brewery. Never having been to a brewery before, I didn't know what to expect. For one, I was expecting the brewery to be much larger than the single-room brewhouse that it was. Regardless, though, I had a lot of fun and was glad I went. Plus, free beer doesn't hurt. On to the pictures. This one was different. I actually liked it, though some of the people I was with didn't. I would say I woudn't drink it all the time, but it would be nice to have every now and then. It was decent. Finally, we tried one of the experimental beers they brew from time to time. This one was called the ESB, or Extra Special Bitter. This will likely never again see the light of day, and will never be bottled for sale. So I got to try a beer that no one else will ever drink. Pretty cool. I really enjoyed this one. I thought it was one of the more unique beers I have had the pleasure to drink. Hopefully I'll get a few more before it goes out of season. Too bad this one can't be brewed year-round. Next is the Winter Lager, one of Sam Adams' seasonal beers. Finished. Bring on Round 2! At first I wasn't too enthusiastic about this beer. But after a while, I learned to appreciate the beer. Delicious. First up, the famous Boston Lager. The vessel to be used to deliver the deliciousness to the mouth. Yum. NOTED!! Some of the giant vats (can't remember the technical term...) in the brewhouse. The Doorway to Heaven. Oh yeah!
  12. I wonder if the Anus Burger is like the White Castle Slider in that it slides right through the colon. Regardless, I'd rather not find out if this is made with real beef or "mystery meat."
  13. That is truly the best-looking SLC ever. There are many coasters from higher-rated parks and companies that don't look anywhere near as awesome as FireWhip. Excellent job to the park.
  14. The Main Monkey Business (Live) -- Rush
  15. An episode of CSI from a few years ago featured what looks like a Schwarzkopf Wildcat coaster as one of the case's main elements. Grissom and the coaster's maintenance guy also have a conversation about The beast and Son of Beast at the end.
  16. Yes. Trust me. Does Gatorade have gators in it?
  17. While I do agree a curved drop is more exciting, I think it would be cool and different to have a straight drop on a flyer.
  18. Only if Matt was at the bottom. Why is the sky blue?
  19. Ring out all the run and have a shindig! Were the Three Blind Mice really blind?
  20. I wish this is a joke, but I think it's for real. The economy must be much worse than I thought...
  21. I don't know. It seems like the majority of B&M coasters have the curved first drop. All (or at least most) of their hypers have a straight drop, and a few others of various types, but by far most of their installations have a curved drop.
  22. Hand Over Fist -- Rush
  23. I don't know how you can't tell you're pregnant. I mean, as far as I'm aware, babies cause you to gain more than "just a little" weight. That just seems a little far fetched to me.
  24. Virtuality -- Rush
  25. I really like the colors for the trains. Agreed, the leads should look really nice rolling through the woods.
