I like the feeling of going slow down the top-hat in the front seat. And all that's holding you in is a lap-bar. Exciting!

This is the layout of my park. All custom coasters and rides. The whole park is built around the lake with the main coaster being "Paul Bunyan" the woodie going around the lake. Please leave comments! SCR2.BMP "Cedar Point"-My park I made from scratch.

^Yeah, going down the exit stairs of Ghost Rider, you can see how dense the wood beams are. Also, if you watch the turnaround above the station, you can see a lot of the beams wobbling as the train goes over them. To all of you who have gotten injured on Ghost Rider...I do not understand how you can get hurt on it. Seriously, after I ride, I just get up and I feel absolutely fine! Sure, you get a little shaken up during the ride, but I feel fine by the time the train enters the station.

^^ & ^^^ Are you guys both tall? Because when I ride it, it's bumpy, but I don't feel wounded after the ride. I have never gotten a headache after riding Ghost Rider...ever!

I beg to differ with Ghost Rider being a 1 ride per visit type coaster. GR is almost a completely different coaster at night! The whole atmosphere changes...(at least for me). I do agree that Monte is a 1 ride per visit coaster though. Once you ride it, it's done. It's no different at night than it is during the daytime. Plus, there is not enough track for you to miss any subtleties while you ride.

^That's exactly why I like Knott's. They have the upscale rides (i.e. XLR8R, Ghost Rider, Supreme Scream) and the "lazy" rides (i.e. Log Ride, Mine Ride, Bigfoot, Jaguar). It really is a good mix of rides and coasters.

Yeah, with the old boats the splash reached the far end of the bridge...now it MIGHT barely get your feet moist. Monte is not intense to me anymore, and Boomerang just hurts my ears. I agree that SB and XLR8R are easy on the body though. SB is just fun with almost no forces and XLR8R's launch is the only intense part of the ride.

^Anything is more thrilling than Pony Express. Well, PP does give you that weird sensation in your stomach but I got used to it. Like on Monte...the launch always gave me that tingling in my gut, but I don't feel it anymore. Now it's not thrilling anymore. The same thing happened with PP for me.

That is true. It does enhance the whole Boardwalk experience. It's just that, you ride it once, it's thrilling, then it's just a blah ride afterwards.

I think that's cool. It gives the ride an ominous nature how right when you walk into the park, the cobra roll is standing there right in front of you. ^^^ I also think Perilous Plunge should be replaced. With two water rides already, they should add another coaster in where PP is now. An impulse, I don't care. Anything is better than the pointless Perilous Plunge.

This Friday my family took a trip down to Costa Mesa to check out this year's O.C. Super Fair! To be honest...it wasn't THAT super. Food: The food was amazing. Throughout the food section of the fair it smelled like BBQ EVERYWHERE. There was a grill about 3X10 that grilled huge beef ribs. The aromas everywhere were overwhelming. Although I have to say one thing, faculty in the food section was not that great. While counting back our change, one employee kept messing up the change and used some profanity that startled us and was very unprofessional. Animals: The livestock section of the fair was very interesting. They had maybe 4 or 5 big stables set up where they had animals ranging from llamas to mules. The smell was a little unpleasant but that can't really be helped. The stalls were very well kept and were neat and tidy. The animals were lazy and non-energetic. One of the llamas did spit at some people which was pretty funny. They had a reptile exhibit set up with reptiles from albino boa constrictors to turtles. One very strange reptile was clawing on the glass of the compartment it was in and obviously did not want to be in there very much. There were also huge pigs and hogs with GIGANTIC testicles. My Mom can vouch for that one. Rides: The rides seemed to be in good condition and running okay. Buying tickets for the rides was too expensive so we didn't end up going on anything, so we just hung out. The coaster there looked VERY rickety. First the supports were thin and rusted plus they were sitting on wood pallets! C'mon really? With all the money they made on rides they could have fixed it up a little bit. The flat rides were the usual "flip and spin you so much that you get disoriented, throw up, and your phone flies out of your pocket" type of rides. One of them spun so much that phones were lying everywhere. The fun-houses seemed like your standard mirror maze, spinning room, and slide fun-houses. I am definitely not a fan of fun-houses. I am glad we didn't buy tickets for them. Shopping: Where do I begin? They had EVERYTHING. They had a booth for designing your kitchen, jewelry booths, a No Fear booth...everything. I felt like I was walking through a market in some third-world country with stands set up everywhere. The people occupying the booths lookesdso bored just sitting there waiting for a customer. I would never do that. Entertainment: Entertainment was fine. They had a pig race as usual. Performers that played at the Pacific Amphitheater included: Heart, Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, Kelly Klarkson, Pat Benatar, Black Eyed Peas, Three Dog Night, and many, many more.
