  1. Rasterbation is your best bet...and it's free. You can create wall-sized posters in various sizes out of any pic you have on your computer. You'll need plenty of paper and ink, but the results are fantastic. Good luck! Example:
  2. I have a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Mathematics.
  3. ^ When your only means of communcation is blinking, I think it's safe to say that you have life altering (if not life threatening) injuries. But again, my thoughts and prayers go out to the girl and her family.
  4. I can't wait until physics day when the students get to calculate Windseekers "puke diameter". From 300 feet at it's given location, I would hypothesize that it is possible to hit Racer and Vortex. Though with it's long and winding queue, the 3D Action theater would take quite a bit of hurl power and may be unreachable. Of course, the midaway is always fair game. I'm more than satisfied with the additions and am pleased CF decided to share the wealth next year. Every few years I'd rather see 4 parks get a major flat than just one get a coaster.
  5. By sheer dumb luck, I happened to be at Worlds of Fun on Prowler's opening weekend in 2009. It truly had the "new coaster smell" of fresh lumber. It permeated the entire area. I wonder if it still does...
  6. Can someone please make a video just like this, only with photos of the trademark TPDave "Surprise-O-Smile"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuXr1iZhSS0
  7. A 400 foot Star-Flyer?! I'm reasonably brave when it comes to rides, but that's too rich for my blood! I hope it's true. It would be a great addition!
  8. Great report. I'm surprised you didn't hit up Wonderworks. That place is right up TPR's alley...kinda like The City Museum.
  9. To everyone with full sized trucks and SUVs: Your vehicle won't fall apart if you don't come to a complete stop for each axle at every speed bump. You could go over it at 10, 15 or even 20 mph! Everything will be okay. I promise.
  10. Knock-Knock. Who's There? 9/11. 9/11 Who? (In tearful voice) You said you'd never forget!
  11. This is awesome! Congratulations!
  12. Had a man-date to go see The Expendables last night. Being raised on classic 80's action films, I came in very skeptical but Stallone delivered an outstanding homage to the genre. It was a straightforward let's-get-to-the-killing movie that didn't take itself too seriously, yet didn't come across as a farce or sendup. The kills were pretty over the top and even campy at times. The pacing was good and an unexpected amount of humor was quite welcome. I really appreciated the fact that it was an "honest" action film with almost zero (I only spotted 2 obvious instances) "wire-work" in the fight sequences. Even though there's a who's-who cast of all-stars, the film pretty much belongs to Stallone, Latham and Li. All in all, a fun movie. I'd be up for a sequel, which is apparently already in development.
  13. Swish from Double-Shot at Alabama Adventure:
  14. I've always wanted there to be a show called Celebrity SAT. That way you'd get to see how dumb they really are (or are not).
  15. Here's a video of some chick having an orgasm while on a slingshot ride: http://www.break.com/index/woman-has-big-o-on-slingshot Could be fake, but still NSFW.
  16. Fantastic shots Shane. Color choices are superb and little touches like the checkered flag path in the parking lot are awesome! I was surprised at how land-locked the park seems though. Hope that's not a problem when future expansion come into play. But I'm sure that Schwartzy will fit nicely in the parking lot if needed.
  17. While not gay myself, I'm still 100% for gay marriage. Like Chris Rock said, "Gay people have the right to be as miserable as the rest of us..." Video is NSFW. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP_AGLI2FBM
  18. Wow. Never thought there'd be a meme that got stuck in my head worse than the rap, but here it is:
  19. Got any shots of the diving boards? I love going off high (and low) dives. Unfortunately it's getting harder and harder to find parks/pools that have them. All the local places around me actually got rid of them. I guess the insurance required to keep them is getting prohibitively expensive.
  20. Love, Love, LOVE the ride manual stuff. More please if possible!
  21. When it was Firecracker, it had a blue structure with red track. Think red white & blue (i.e. 4th of July).
  22. Good old Avalanche. I popped my cherry on it 20+ years ago when it was Firecracker at Holiday World.
  23. Suggestion: Take out that pic of your friend flipping the bird. It tarnishes what is otherwise an outstanding TR.
