  1. HRP could become HIP with some clever corporate sponsorships... I give you...HARD IRONIC PARK!
  2. Boo-yeah! Thanks for the crap. I hope it's fresh.
  3. Coaster is looking good, but I don't think I'll ever understand the choice to go with the Terminator theme. Termitenator...maybe. But who cares. A new ride is a new ride regardless of the name.
  4. Any new TPR shirt designs in the works? I'd like to have a t-shirt with the tri-color logo that's on the hoodie, but that's just crazy talk! Thanks for listening.
  5. Holiday World - 45 Min. (Home Park) Beech Bend - 1 Hour SFKK - 2 Hours KI & SFStL < 4 Hours
  6. ^ Well played sir!
  7. Maggie or Millie quickly come to mind...but then there's always the classic Eejanaika and my personal favorite Flight Deck (as mentioned above).
  8. Wow! I watched Theme-Parks-a-Go-Go when it originally aired many, many years ago. Never thought I'd get to see it again. Amazing...I'm starting to wonder what don't you have in that wonderful closet of yours! Keep the good stuff coming!
  9. I got 8 re-rides in a row on Raven at Holiday World on opening day this past season. I had 13 rides on it total that day. I tried to pull off the same thing on Voyage at an ERT event as well, but was spent after 3 consecutive rides. All these rides taught me that it is indeed about quality, not quantity, as none of the repeat rides were as memorable as some other single rides I've had on them.
  10. My kids love this show. At first you think it's retarded, but then it sucks you in. The songs are quite catchy and actually very intricate musically. I am quite sure that I'll never be able to get "Party in my Tummy" and "Hugs are Fun" out of my head...ever.
  11. The big man is a VIP no matter where he goes...and yet I can't figure out why. It must be awesome to have the Big Mike hookup. Keep it coming!
  12. "Show Me Your Clam..." Classic! Glad you came back to finish this TR. It's great!
  13. Great TR and great tradition. That snot sign from ICE will have me laughing for the rest of the week!
  14. I sure hope somebody has some old Opryland stuff. I'd love to see that.
  15. Nice TR! I didn't know this place exisited. BTW - Did they have any Dickens Cider?
  16. No need to photoshop here. It's funny enough. I call this one "Good Timing on Goliath".
  17. Review & lots of good pics here: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/maze-films-saw-2171372-live-
  18. Good Luck! Where am I?
  19. ^^ It depends on how far the train is from the brake block and/or what elements are in between. In many cases, they will use a crane, tie a cable to the train and do a pull through to the next block whereafter gravity does the rest. Though in some situations, they simply take the upstop wheels off the train and use the crane to move the train completely off the track and back to the station.
  20. Excellent TR! I especially love how you point out so many "first times" and things you don't have in the UK! It adds tons of charm to the report! Keep it coming! Oh and "Millennium Flyers" are a certain style of train found on wooden coasters.
  21. Can't believe you guys skipped Holiday World. It's only an hour from SFKK! Keep the pics coming.
  22. The opening to Knocked Up features several Knotts Berry Farm coasters. And there is a great little bonus on the DVD about one of the actors who was terrified to ride the coaster (Silver Bullet) and what happened when he got on it. You can also watch the bonus in full here:
  23. Loving this great TR, but I can't hold my tongue any longer: Dude, your Dad looks scarily like Johnny Ringo (Played by Michael Biehn) from Tombstone (Especially at the Space Center) -
  24. Crystal Wings looks unbelievable! I wonder what cost more, the coaster or the theming?
  25. Just about everything that was at Opryland including: Rock n Rollercoaster Chaos Wabash Cannonball Screamin Delta Demon Etc. The only ride I never made it on there was Hangman. I sure do miss that park.
