Greatest On ride photo ever!

^Or the veritably infamous "Flash Mountain" catalog, in a sorta-similar vein. -

How about Redline for the coaster? You already got the colors to match! -

^^It's on a sort of "wait-and-see" basis right now. Ole Lang (the game's sole programmer) hasn't put out an update since July, but claimed he was swamped with work. He originally pitched an extremely late 2010-early to mid 2011 release date, but nothing is set in stone. I gotta admit, I give the guy a lot of credit for doing this entire project solo. -

^Well, RCT was originally crafted as more of a strategy game than a creation tool, it just sorta grew into that stigma over time. -
Anyone else here getting really hyped about Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit?

Lakemont Park [RCT3]

One thing I've immediately noticed that detracts severely from this park is that every coaster hasn't been painted. And to be honest, red-yellow-blue on black looks really repulsive. Also, all of the buildings are in standard colors as well, which doesn't help either. Please, paint your stuff! -
Wooden Racer Model

Ah, oh well if it's not a working model, it's still really sweet! I'd say that $80 sounds just about right then! -
^^I know the feeling all too well these days too. Sorry that you're having to go through with that. ^They were in a long distance relationship, so it's kinda hard to fulfill that I'd imagine (speaking from experience here).

In math class today (I'm in online school), we're about halfway through discussing a topic (one that I already more than understand and really didn't need to hear about again) when one student comes in late. My teacher (in his mystical wisdom) starts over from the beginning. I mean, it's not like I had two tests or an essay I could've been doing...

Just out of curiosity, does it run? I'd consider a much higher price than $129 if it did. -

Pretty nice little park, my only suggestion would be to give the queue lines some color. The all black look just stands out as kinda "meh" to me. Keep up the good work! -

Anyone else notice the stark lack of a Kuka-Arm like at most of the other parks? Kinda odd, they seemed to be on a bit of a kick with those. -
[RCT2] Old Parks of mine
Ace Of Spades replied to Dotrobot's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
They way you talk about these parks, it's like you're kinda ashamed of them. My question is why? Considering this is how 95% of RCT players built parks when RCT2 came out (and how many of us still do ), it's not like they're all that terrible. Hell, some of us are barely above that level, so...yeah, embrace your "n00b" work, it's one of the most fun things about RCT! -

^Just curious, where do you see the SLC bit? -
Friends of friends. I can't even remember how many times I've been playing something on Xbox Live with a friend (it's the only way I can really do stuff with my Cali friends anymore) and one of their friends barges in asking them to play Halo or something else I don't have, and when I try to just be friendly, they cuss me out like I'm some kind of freak. I know it's a bad idea to let random jerks get to you, but it's random acts of hate like this that made me suicidal once upon a time.

I keep hearing that Minebuster and Wild Beast have really gotten rough with age, which surprises me, as I went on them back in 2008 and didn't find them to be all that bad (then again, I'm the gent that finds Ghostrider smooth, so who knows ). It's a shame that they've become supposedly unrideable though. -
Fabbri Spinning mouse and sheesh
Ace Of Spades replied to velluli's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only thing I can offer is that the brake pressure makes all the difference on the ride, as the restaints can dig into the chest really hard if it stops fast facing the wrong way on the Fabbri coaster. It makes the difference between a decent ride and an "Ow!" ride, so to speak. That and the faster the thing rips through the course, the better ride it seems to give (to me, anyway). So basically, the lower the brake pressure, the better. (Coming from a technical novice here, if anyone can back up or discredit what advice I'm giving here, please do. ) -

^I've noticed that too, and agree with you. Of course, I really don't think either is all that great to be honest. I've only ridden a traveling variety of each, so I guess I don't have the best case of experience, but whatever, my $.02. -

The thing is, the layout is not all that fun either to be honest. I have fun on even the smaller Dragon Wagons and the roughest of Vekoma SLC coasters, but this thing was just a bland combination of boredom and pain. I would never recommend that anyone or any park invest in one.
