Oh, sweet! I can do the video I wanted to do and grab some more screenshots! I wanted to do those in the first place, but morning beat me to it last night. It's just the angle, but it IS a really tall inversion.

Well, I crammed on it, but I ended up creating what is quite possibly my favorite design ever: DER RIESE! I honestly had to sit down and do quite a bit of research to see what makes Schwarzkopf coasters tick. The result is the ultimate fusion of what Anton did best: mix dramatic elements, extreme G's, and true practicality. Thus, this mega-portable looping coaster features three loops, including a one-of-a-kind figure eight loop that stands 160+ft tall, speeds of almost seventy miles per hour, and a top height of a near hyper-coaster 179ft, numerous tight curves, swooping drops, and airtime hills, and can run four trains nearly seamlessly in a footprint no larger than most family coasters! Thus, Der Riese is a true powerhouse design, willing to turn its victims into bratwurst in just about three minutes! I created a design that I'm super proud of here, and believe is well within the spirit of what the master himself would have designed! So Summer of 2011, you're proposing a two month vacation where I get to travel across numerous states, two countries, and get Dollywood, Darien Lake, Canada's Wonderland, and Cedar Point along the way?

As of an hour ago, the Sahara is now locked up, awaiting its fate, whatever that may be. Another classic piece of Vegas gone kaput, good job economy.

Abrecadavre-Elena Siegman Yeah, it's another song from a game, so? Considering I *hate* screamo and metal, I'll never understand why this song is so good, but it and 115 are just amazing.

I just realized that once again, I've never ridden any of the top ten. Best is Behemoth in 15th, then nothing down till X2 in 32nd. At least I'll get Millennium Force at the end of the summer.

^Oh wow, that's just...sad. Gotta love that they're still accepting donations nine days till the end. Hope that buys them a bit more magic kool-aid before the end times.

Or, get a time machine, go back to the 90's, and ask B&M for an Invert design. Seriously though, those crazy people over at Intamin oughta be feeling really good having 8/10 of the coasters in the top ten.

Um...grrt...I'm the last one to want to criticize in the rant thread...but don't you think that's taking it just an itty bit too far?

A wooden flying coaster? Wasn't that a meme back when Maverick debuted? It's a neat idea nonetheless, and pretty well executed from what I can see. I like it!
