I do wonder if kids that had the "first gen" of texting mobile phones in the early 2000's will be different from kids that get a mobile phone with a full keyboard today. I can almost understand when you had a crappy phone with three letters and a number on 1 key, or even T9 word, but today, it's almost just as easy to type on a mobile phone as it is on a keyboard. I learned to text on a "3 letters and a number" keyboard, and even on that thing I tried to actually type words out. Most people I know still do their best to be as incomprehensible as possible though, even on a full keyboard. I don't get it. Since I've been thinking about this lately, let's compare how the coasts deal with earthquakes... East Coast's 5.8 a week ago. "OMFGITSTHEENDOFTHEWORLDPANIC" West Coast's 4.3 today. "Eh, my ceiling fan shook a bit." Now I know there's a difference in magnitudes and the East Coast doesn't get them often, but the difference in how they're treated by the public is kinda funny (to me, anyway).

^Eh, thanks for that. I do mean it. I'm usually not like that, just was in a bit of a mood last night and felt like venting. Just me being a bitch about stuff, I get like that from time to time, it's something I normally try to avoid though.

Apparently I'm such a terrible guy to be around that I can start dating a girl who was near-creepy levels of obsessed with me two weeks ago and, in that short frame of time, watch her break up with me and refuse to talk to me. And all I ever did was try to be as nice and normal as possible. Honestly, I'm so freaking done with this s**t. I try, I honestly try, to be better than the jerkoffs who seem to have people surrounding them day and night, but by doing so I must be shooting myself in the foot repeatedly in an attempt to just be a half decent person and an even minutely dateable guy, since I'm always alone these days. I'm so useless at everything anyway, so now this is no exception. To be honest, I'm glad I at least have a shred of sanity left, otherwise I'd have offed myself years ago considering how completely useless I am to anyone. And this isn't the teenage angst talking (I know when I go there, I sound even more freaking pathetic) because I know how lucky I am in a lot of ways, but that's irrelevant in this case, since this is just me looking at, in general, how completely pathetic I am and how this just confirms it, just like everything else I do does. Just...eff it. Oh, and in other riveting news, my cat ran away, both my dogs are getting really sick, I can't afford any college I want to get into, and my family's completely broke. Oh happy day.

Started again on Monday, been a piece of cake so far. I'm literally only having to do about two hours a day (thank you online school!) Taking this semester: Honors American Government Honors English 12 Precalc Journalism Programming World History A (Took this at AP level in tenth grade and got flattened by the workload, but at least I'm only retaking this semester) Next semester comes Speech and Debate, which should be fun.

I dunno, I saw Wonderland perfectly fine from the 407. Maybe I'm just hallucinating the giant hypercoaster and windseeker in the distance or something.

It's times like this I remember how much I appreciate having family that lives an hour from Vaughn. (Also, passed the park twice on the 407 today, I can just picture a giant aqua B&M rising above everything else...it'll look so amazing!)
