Hello,my name is Brad Johnson and I live and work in Owensboro Kentucky. Owensboro is a large city in the tri-state area surrounded by many other cities. I work for the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, our local news paper as a leisure writer. Recently, a small company named Coal Field Amusements has started construction on a new park called Great Kentucky Park. I picked up on this news and quickly contacted this parks PR department to set up a meeting. After talking to park executives and taking my notes, they let me take pictures. I decided to post them here with permission from the park. This is the entrance. And finally,The Porch Swing. Then you come to the Twister thrill ride. You get your drinks here. Then you see this currently unamed cafe. After you enter you see this amazing looking carousel.

^^Remember ATA Airlines? I flew on them once to Hawaii. Three words: Worst airline ever! It was worse than my former least favorite, united. No Video entertainment on the longest flight i've ever been on. And the stewardess was a little witch. She talked about me like I wasn't in the room. She said, " I can't believe he wants another soda, he really doesn't need another, I feel so overworked!" Ugh! But, luckily that airline is gone for good!

When I went to Beech Bend Park, I rode Rumbler at least 10 times,because the park was empty except for my group. So, no you're not crazy. But here's a warning: 10 rides on any (even if it's smooth like Rumbler) Woodie=Massive Migraine!!

I remember Mr.six! I loved him! It makes me want to run to SFKK right now!

I think Holiday World should add a mega-lite in a couple of years. It would be perfect for them as their first steel coaster.

Despite what others have said, Safari Pizza's is the best. But I agree with others saying that I love Plymouth Rock Cafe is the best food at Holiday World.

I'm just looking for a simple camera that's small, easy to use, affordable, and easy to put up on youtube (or TPR Tv), or to play on my TV , With adequate video quality. By the way, I would also like to know if they have good tech support too. Thanks!

Did you know that the when they were getting second train for the Raven at Holiday World, they considered painting the train black instead of red?

No way! When I first went to IOA I loved the water vortex on Posidons Fury. And really, the vortex was all it had going for it. Why IOA why! Oh wait maybe Eisner just took over and will betray me again.

Intamin half pipe pleeeese but seriousley that would be awesome! name it the mayflower and theme up one of the um what do you call their cars well theme it up and it would be great because 1.its an intamin and 2.unlike a pirate ship or disco its a credit!

i've been followin this park, not since day one but i just read it today and at first when i saw the title, i was like "what!" it sounded like one of those parks that are super cheap and are behind a swap meet but i looked at it anyway and its awesome!
