As some of you may have known, Wild Waves is a small theme park here in Washington that was sold from Six Flags to PARC Management in 2006. Not much has been said of it here on TPR (at least by what I've seen) and I took a few photos when I visited its traditional Fright Fest. So here's what you've missed over the past few years...... (Note: Sorry for the dark and blurry photo's; this isn't the best night camera to use.) Finally, I'll end this update with a random dark photo of the lights. Funky lights! It would've been better to put this stuff near Disko Flashback. Would've fit the theme at least! DJ booth with the music. Last ride of 2008, a hang glider. At least it gives you a good view. Oh no! Now I'm doing it! Uhh...... Mom looking funny dancing to the weird music. Umm..... And of ALL names you could've come up with, did it make any sense to call it "The Kiddie Combo?" What kind of name IS that?!?!? Louie thinks this ride as pointless and would find it more entertaining to burn it. That makes Jeff Johnson cry. The Timberhawk sign again. More random wood. The roof over the path that goes under the supports. The lift hil The lighting gave me nasuea, but you can't tell because of the flash. Louie ditched this T:RoP ride. Timberhawk: Ride of Prey! AKA S&S's first attempt at a woodie. Go Utah! This is a sign of what's to come... Two 17 or so year old girls were riding this ride. And all I could hear was "AHHHH!!!!EEEKKK!!!!" I yelled to them "Seriously?!?!? On a kid's version of Falling Star?!?" *Sigh.* Someone dressed like THAT for 45* weather! Brave person. Or stupid maybe. Or just forgot to bring a coat. COMPLETELY random sweatshirt! Don't you love this stuff? Dodgem's. Running only 7 cars, so the line with only one row of overflow was 20min. I don't know why I took this pic, maybe for the Coke... Our fun filled ride to the emergency room has arrived! Are you ready? Next up, the parks wild mouse coaster: Klondike Gold Rusher! Classic rib breaking fun! The really long strands of whatever! Combo's! Oh yeah, I have some bags at home. Dang it! Wish I would've brought some. Combo's are good! I've never seen it lit up at night. Pretty cool... First up, WW's newest ride, Disko Flashback! I love Zampherilla because of this ride! See the guy at the water race stand? I can barely see him. Stupid camera, should've put it on flash! Ohhh! Pretty midway you are! My mom making some random phone call. If you notice that outhouse, you can stand next to it in the dark and open the door; it'll spray water directly out in front of it so that you can scare, soak or even anger unsuspecting people! FUN! It seems like there are always fish here! During times when the park is open, small machines allow you to pay 25 cents to feed the fish. It's worth it to watch them flop over each other and splash around just to get 30 small pellets of food! A dark but very slightly visable view of the I-5 dive, the parks Skycoaster. For those of you who live in California or Oregon, yes, this is the same freeway. The first time EVER that the line wasn't long for the haunted house! Whoot!... Ok, fine, we got in line just as it was being changed from little kid to big kid thrills. Usually every queue is filled, so we were lucky this year. The map of the park. Note that Silverwood and Wild Waves probably use the same company to make the map; compare them and notice the similarities. The weird t-shirts they were selling as you head towards the haunted house. The wave pool was emptied so that you could dance to music! Thriller baby! The worst bathroom in the park recently got worse with this nicely clogged sink. Thanks PARC! (Side note: I've noticed that Six Flags was pretty bad at managing the park, and PARC does better, but they NEED to pay attention to this bathroom! cf12, if you're watching, report this problem and use this as evidence! Please? Thanks in advance.) Inside the park, you can see (and hear) the Ring of Fire, and the other attractions from on top of the hill. Driving down the last street to get to the park. Yay! We're here! The Wild Waves sign off the freeway.(Sorry for the blurriness.)

13 as of now, and I think my first major coaster was either the Wild Cat or the Coaster Thrill Ride, both at the Puyalup Fair in Western Washington. I'm sure most people know about your typical Wildcat ride, but I have a couple of pics to give you an idea about CTR. They name the trains. The yellow one's called Ol' Yeller. I forgot the name of the one that was parked, though... CTR is the fair's woodie. Not bad, a great beginner with some airtime for more fun!

Does anyone know where I can find the newer version of the 8 cars trainer? Just wondering. My tip: A straight piece of queue can hold up to 5 peeps, a curved can hold 4 peeps. For balanced queue waiting, put a set of paths that is 3 or 4 times the # of people per train. For example, 28 people per train, 2 trains, 2x28=56, so put queue that can accomodate about 168 peeps. Hope it helps anyone with long waits!

Ohhh! Ahhh! Looks interesting. Your right about the head choppers, arm choppers if you stick them up too. Can't wait for more! -
I suggest that, for the acid river, you make the drops a few dips, not one big drop. And make sure it has some room to slow down; it'd break your back to go around a corner that fast! Like monkeyoverlord71 said, you should put more facilities (i.e., restrooms, info centers, A.T.M.s, etc) around your park. Just try to do some of these suggestions and it'll be a great park! Keep up the good work!
