  1. Part 4 I get the DVD, which is $20. Ripoff, but I still enjoy getting them. After that, we head for this hypnotist. Amazingly, I am picked to be hypnotized! I didn't get fully hypnotized, but I can tell that it really is possible! I lost my concentration at the last second while we were being hypnotized, so I didn't get the full effect. But it was still very interesting, and for skeptics I think I can say that it really can work! Like last year, I got a Bull Chip... ...and some milk. But I also stop and get some Yakisoba noodles. I personally thought it had too much vegetables in it, but if you combine it with teriyaki chicken, this yakisoba is pretty good! The everything-on-a-stick stall. I can't believe I didn't stop here! Mom got some corn-on-the-cob, her favorite. Plumpkins! Mom loves these! This turkey does NOT look happy! Need some coffee? Sasquatch will help you get the energy you need! I'll end with this random rock band; one of many likely to be at the fair. Thanks for reading!
  2. ^^It's all about spacing. Marineland can't sue SFSt.L for copyrights to the name Sky Screamer because SFSt.L is calling their ride SkyScreamer.
  3. ^^^I remember you said similar things about the 2010 Fiesta. Guess it's not that great? I'll have to get one as a rental to see if I like it or not. ^^Sadly, the fair has many 'Single-rider-unfriendly' rides. It makes things complicated if you go to the fair by yourself. ^Really? It has been running almost every fair that I've gone to. That stinks that it doesn't run more often for you, I know it's a great credit to get. Part 3 Annie wanted a close-up shot with Lucario... So she gets it. We know somebody in this band! The girls try some hats on. Now I'm ready to conquer the Extreme Scream! Easy, since I did it thrice last year. I just kept on taking artsy shots.... Indexgator will LOVE this! Everybody on this side was pumped and ready to ride, even the invisible guy! Proof that this is an S&S Combo Ride. He's waiting to push the button.... ...to launch these very nervous people 180ft in the air! This wheel spins VERY fast! Kick your feet out if you agree. We decide just to walk to the other end.... Instead of taking this... Those side deflectors turn it from SKLOOSH! to (Skloosh), litereally. TPR rode this on their last trip here. But... ...it was closed for testing. Inverted Tilt-A-Whirl, anybody? Indeed, this fair has 2 KidTums and Credit Whore friendly rides! My hump... my baby hump! We've reached the upcharge part of the park, with these water-balls, S&S Bungee Trampoline, and Sling Shot (with Intamin seats, I might add). Sadly, there's no Turbo Force like last year, but I'll manage. This ride is incredibly simple. This big box of springs rises, and tightens the cables. An electromagnet holds the vehicle to the ground. When the electromagnet is turned off by the operator... ... You get slung 250ft into the air! When you return to the ground, you might be a little more awake than you were before. They honked the horn a few times... but they also forgot a few times. Horn < no horn. This ride has a very patriotic theme to it. New inspection decal! Nerds rejoice! The DVD sucks, as it is split into segments. I suck at editing, so I can't really combine them to make the DVD appear well on the computer. So this is the closest to an 'onride shot' you'll get. I'll post more later. Thanks for reading!
  4. It seems like lots of people, including me, are lame because we're not getting one. EDIT: I got one in New York! Change my vote!
  5. Part 2 Coaster Thrill Ride POV Continuing where we left off.... I spy with my little eye... a LOT of new wood! Compare to a similar shot I took last year... You'll notice all of the NEW WOOD! You'll notice the NEW WOOD here too! This might as well be a brand new GCI: Loads of airtime, new wood.... ...and a station fly-above! Only one train operation. Still worth the wait, though! This sign belongs at Wild Waves. This made me VERY happy! Larrygator will feed this photo to his best friend, the Indexgator! Lots of ride ops meant quick dispatches, but 1 train made that useless. Also, thanks to the lady who gave me 6 extra tickets because we didn't realize how quickly we spent our tickets! We really appreciate it, if you are reading this! NOTED! Classic no-gates entrance to each car. Skid Brakes! I don't think I'd ever do this. This is the closest to a 'Boob credit' you'll get at any American theme park or fair! Wildcat and Big Sling. Yay! Kerappy flume ride! 3...2...1.... SQUEAK! Wildcat's awesome sign! Super(small) Roundup. Rumblerumblerumble The Tilt-A-Whirl wasn't working today... Minnesotans not-rejoice. =( Is it just me, or does the vehicle look like it's floating? We decided to ride the Ferris Wheel. It's a good wheel, but the ops loaded it and cycled it really inefficiently. Don't ride if there's a long line. See? Empty gondola after empty gondola. NOTED! No Turbo Force this year. =( Overview. Wildcat Layout. Aerial view of the Tilt-A-Whirl's surgery. Wheel structure. Credit whores and KidTums would love this coaster! Sling! Joey and KidTums are missing! Oh wait, I forgot that Joey's drinking beer and riding a 5-looper Schwarzkoph, and KidTums is probably watching German Yo-Gabba Gabba. We decide that it's time to get lunch. Nope, not here. Wrong, not here either. Certainly not here! I wouldn't want my food to get soggy, especially since that ride is 16 years old... Although Aquatrax wouldn't be bad.... We have to leave the fair to get this! "Where are we going?" Alfy's? Nope! Group photo before we enter.... We pass a taco truck, a billion burger joints, several pizza places, scones, ice cream, fried everything, etc. etc. etc..... FOR SUBWAY?!?!?!? No matter, I'll try to make the best out of this. Footlong Big Philly with mozzerella, lettuce, bacon, and ranch. It was quickly turned into a 6 inch! Awesome painting on the wall! Part 3 to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
  6. Just got mine! Hmm... what could this be? It has my name and address... and it's from Valencia, California! Fluffy, Fluffy Bunny Filled With Medicine & Goo helps open the mysterious package! Yay! Club TPR: The Magazine Issue 2! Awesomeness! I look through the photos a little.... This is right before I splash Robb, and he splashes me back! Mmm... Mondial. Italian coasters that I will be on soon! Super Mmmm..... Yay! I get a photo! Piers makes this new Vekoma train look VERY sexy! One of these pictures made me go ZOMG! when I first saw it. Guess which one it was.... Nope, it was the slide one. Hey! Me has this alarm clock too! Lucario approved magazine!
  7. If anybody remembers, last year, I went to the Puyallup Fair. The Puyallup Fair is Washington State's most profitable attraction, drawing over 1,000,000 guests each year in its September 10th - 26th span. The fair is well known for its animals, its food, its vendors, and its rides. Naturally, being on a theme park website, I like the check out the latter. This year, I went again and did so. So now... Let's start off with a POV! And now some good news from Lucario..... "Guess what? No long, irrelevent prologue crap! We're getting right to the photos, people!" I'm setting my glee free! Turnstiles, like at most major theme parks. Just because there isn't a prologue doesn't mean it won't include this kind of shot. Enter through the Blue Gate and to your right.... very unhealthy food! They call it YoungLife because your life will end young, due to the fact that it's at a fair and it will be automatically bad for you. The same group as last year (Minus Savannah and Jennifer, plus new exchange student and her daughter. FYI, the exchange student has been to Everland! She probably has a credit on Aquatrax! ). That Fiesta that was advertised last year.... Now it's the real deal! Does anybody know what this is? I'm sure everybody knows what this is! Kamakazi Kinda like a claustrophobic, traveling version of Hammerhead Shark. I remember I rode that rotor thing 2 years ago. And I remember I rode that launch tower thingy last year! (Yes I know it's called Extreme Scream) I remember I rode this last year too. And here we are, a VERY old, ACE approved woodie! According to the Index, this ride isn't operating... Jumping. The portable, claustrophobic version of the one at Canada's Wonderland. Pretty much an arctic themed Musik Express. Enterprise Ring of Fire, but with a different name. Now, time for the chairswing! Wanna see what happens after this? Watch the POV! Next up is Sky Diver. Control panel shot! Artsy shot After riding twice, I really wanted to just sit down in one of these things. Next is the flying thingy. Like a __________, more ___________ version of Hang Glider at Wild Waves. (Insert correct caption to win bonus points!) I like the new 'ticket' system. You buy 'tickets', but instead of getting actual tickets, you get a card with the amount of tickets you purchased. Then, you go to whatever ride you want to ride (that accepts tickets), give the card to a person, and they scan it. If it works, you can just get on the ride. Easy, simple, quick, and more organized! Although you will probably want to track exactly how many 'tickets' you're using, because you can easily loose track of how many points you spend. Fluffy, fluffy dalmation filled with medicine and goo! Part 2 soon to follow. Thanks for reading!
  8. Great photos and captions! I remember how awesome this park was when I visited it 4 years ago; I'd visit it again in a heartbeat if I could.
  9. I wish I'd get some on my birthday.... How did you get them? VV Same!
  10. Now if Wild Waves didn't have a 125ft height restriction, and if PARC would add one, I'd love to see one of these nearby me. But neither is likely to happen, so I guess I'll have to wait until 2011.
  11. I like the theme! For once, a 'not as major as Superman, Batman, or their respective villans' DC Comics character gets into the limelight at a SF park. I've never ridden Chang, so I'll finally get to see if it was as good as it was awarded when it opened.
  12. I couldn't agree any more! Awesome photos! I wish I could visit this park more often, I hate having to be stuck here so long.
  13. Just went to the Puyallup Fair yesterday, and I finally got my ride on Big Sling!
  14. This new train looks awesome! I hope they put a similar one on S:TE.
  15. This looks like a great woodie! Is there a lot of airtime? Larry is going to have to update the index to make it open again.
  16. ^Disassemble it and move it. SF did it all the time for a while. In fact, SFGAd's Parachute Tower was moved from SFSt.L.
  17. ^Because it's awesome. If you didn't know, I'm a HUUUUGGGEEEE fan of parachute towers.
  18. ^No. Robb said it's to tickle the track while the train is going through, read his post above.
  19. Everybody, like Windseeker on Facebook now! Windseeker
  20. ^I know, I was just giving a suggestion. I guess you aren't able to color that one in the way you are able to color the gyro-drop, that's one bad point.
  21. It looks better, but I do have a suggestion. Use this drop tower RR Gadget Intamin Drop Tower CFR unless you'd rather keep this a non-custom park. It has a higher capacity and is more realistic. I like the new attractions! They make the park more Paramountish.
  22. I think the drink discount for season pass holders is a good idea. I always get drink cups when I'm at parks, and most of the time we buy a season pass for the parks we visit more than twice during a vacation. Along with this, we drink a lot of soda while at parks, so we get our use out of cups. I think a discount would make things easier and less expensive for people like us.
