I just found out I got tickets to this weeks Steelers-Ravens game, in the front row of the endzone. I hope somebody does a "Lambeau Leap" into me after a touchdown

And all of a sudden, we have a chance...if the Broncos lose (to the Eagles), and we run the table, and the Jets (who will lose to the Colts), Titans (will lose to the Chargers), and Jacksonville (will lose to the Patriots) all lose again, we suddenly get a Wild Card spot..

Quick thing Ive always wondered...is the Saints "Who Dat" thing related in any way to the Bengals "Who Dey" thing ?

Well we know Kennywood takes care of their wooden coasters well...Im not sure how well that will translate to steel though...

I will be SHOCKED if the Saints don't go 16-0...the Colts is another thing because they have a tougher schedule, face teams fighting for the playoffs, and I believe Caldwell has already stated theyll be conservative and rest starters, but the Saints really have not much difficulty between them and 16-0 and I heard Sean Payton said "16-0 is a goal" which I assume means theyll at least play their starters enough to try and secure wins...

Hmmmm...the coaster-nerd side of me says this is an awesome use of the space, but at the same time another part of me feels like it's a slight disrespect to the people who competed there and because of the records set and stuff to turn this into a water park...ehhhh I don't know. Last week, I learned to believe in Karma. This lady called me and asked me to work at my Church's breakfast because somebody was sick; when I was there I carried an old man's tray to his table for him and he tipped me with two tickets to the Steelers-Vikings game that he couldn't use On another note, apparently Lendale White sent a Terrible Towel up to a school in Pittsburgh with a note saying something along the lines of "The Titans wish the Steelers the best of luck, and PLEASE release the curse!"

Its actually pretty funny because Bungie said numerous times when it was announced that they didnt think this was worth $60 and that they thought it should only be about $30-40 but then Micro$oft couldn't stand pricing a Halo title at less than $60 so they forced Bungie to charge that much.

Halo 3 ODST was THE most DISAPPOINTING video game I have EVER played. I had really high hopes because Bungie always has really good games, and this looked like it was gonna be awesome, but it just flat out sucked. The campaign was boring and easy, the plot was horrible and hard to follow at times, Firefight is surprisingly nowhere NEAR as fun as it looked like it would be, and altogether I REALLY regret spending $60 on it. I plan on returning it ASAP even if I cant get a full refund, DO NOT BUY THIS. I give it 3.5/10.

Wow, Im pretty disappointed in Buffalo. They had that game and let it slip right through their fingers, and of course now everybody PRAISES Tom Brady for his IMMACULATE return to the sport because he threw a 15 yard TD pass to win the game after the Bills fumbled the kickoff that would have given them the game ending possession.

I know pretty much everybody's seen the clip by now, and I agree Kanye was a pretty big jerk, but I have a question for all those who actually watched it live..... WHY in Gods name were you watching the VMAs when you could be watching the Bears play the Packers on Sunday Night Football??!!?!?!

Unless you're a higher-up at BGW, there is no way you can know just how much BBW has cost them in terms of repair and maintenance (which I am sure is A LOT more than you think as compared to how many people it draws to the park). From a business standpoint, which is how you have to view these things sometimes, I personally dont see many cons as opposed to pros of tearing out BBW. Its obviously costing them A LOT in terms of maintenance and repair, although it is relatively popular ride it is most likely NOT what is drawing people to the park (remember WE are the enthusiasts, and a lot of the GP might not even realize it is gone, Griffon is probably what is drawing many to the park); and although a new coaster will cost a lot it will no doubt draw in HUGE crowds. Do I wish BBW could stay? Yes. But I can see why the tore it out and in I do think that at this point it may well have been costing BGW MUCH more than it was making money for them.

That's the thing:Nessie is some 31 years old as of now so shouldn't it have passed the end of it's "service life" long before BBW even did? Both rides are made of steel after all & the track requires the same basic maintenance such as paint on a regular basis to help slow down oxidation but the park simply didn't want to put forth the cap ex to maintain it any further & chose the easier option....to just get rid of it. Just because Nessie is older then BBW doesnt have to mean anything. Im no engineer but I am positive the constant swinging of BBW's trains puts A LOT more stress on both the trains and track of BBW then Nessie's trains put on it; meaning BGE has probably dumped A LOT of money into maintaining BBW over the years; basically BBW wears away at a much faster rate than Nessie does.

First DF & now BBW,I'm sure that nessie is soon to follow as BGW is just on a hate/hate relationship with Arrow these days.When DF was yanked the excuse(more like the lie) given was that ridership suffered due to poor engineering of the ride when it was really due to poor placement & now the excuse(or lie) given in the case of BBW is that they need the space for a new ride when the DF site has PLENTY of space to build a decent sized coaster alone. Umm, no. They have said several times BBW "reached the end of its service life" and was "too costly to maintain." NOWHERE have they said they were removing it because they need space for a new ride; although they have said they will REPLACE BBW with a new ride, they did not say this was the reason for its removal.
