  1. Im rooting for the Steelers (of course) but the Cardinals have been my second favorite team for years so I wont be that disappointed if my team loses. Kind of weird my 2 favorite teams got to the Super Bowl cause my 2 favorite teams also got to the Stanley Cup finals in 2008. Now if only those Pirates could do something this year....
  2. ^It is pretty much the most epic setlist ever. I cant wait for March 29. I may lose my social life to this
  3. GO STEELERS!!!!!! Im scared about Arizona though, they've been pretty damn good the past few weeks. But we can take 'em
  4. Although I want it to be a Pittsburgh/Arizona Super Bowl, my actual prediction is a Steelers/Eagles Super Bowl. Go Steelers!!!!
  5. Correction: What would chicks with big boobs riding a laser snake horse on fire be like...ON THE MOON?
  6. Does anyone really care? You're not looking at the drummer anyway if you're actually playing.
  7. I bought GHWT on opening day, the full band kit, and Im willing to answer any questions about it. So far I like the game, I LOVE the new guitar, and the setlist is actually better then I thought it would be. Yes, there are some songs that are also on Rock Band 2, but most of them aren't, and there's many songs Ive heard a lot but never knew what they were called. I don't know where you heard the 4 songs thing from Spaceace12 but there are WAY more than that on the game that aren't in Rock Band 2. There's really no difference in the mics, but I find the guitar much better than RB's, especially the touch strip, it's a huge improvement on GH3's. I dont really know what to say about drums yet, but mine seem to work fine(theres been many reports of broken drumsets in the launch kits). IMO, there all-around better than RB's drums with the exception of the stand they are on, as it seems a lot less sturdy then the Rock Band stand(when I play, they seem to rock back and forth). The music studio is fun, but its hard to do at first. I love the character creator, Ive already made accurate replicas of Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield(the guitarist and singer of Metallica) McJaco, I say you buy it, but it may depend on which kit you get. Definitely buy it if you only need the game or a guitar, but I cant say yet if its worth it to shell out the full $200 for the band kit, as I haven't played drums a lot yet, but what I have played I like. Also, the drums are actually very difficult, for an example look up Hot for Teacher on Expert as it seems to be the new TTFAF of drums.
  8. Cool, I was there the day after you. Unfortunately, it was REALLY crowded for me, in 6 hours we only did 1 haunted attraction(Voodoo Bayou), 2 rides on Phantom, 1 ride on Thunderbolt, and 1 on Racer. Still really fun though!!
  9. Wow....they actually designed one... I thought it would never happen Honestly, I think this could be painful, but just imagine the footchoppers!!!
  10. For those who want to listen to it without buying anything, they have the entire album on their website now. link
  11. ^^The cymbals don't do anything in-game, and unless you're actually a real drummer, you can't do much more with the new RB drum kit. It's just a way to squeeze another $100 out of customers by promising a "real drum kit". And Neversoft has promised more frequent DLC for Guitar Hero and plans to have a DLC library rivaling Rock Band's within the next year. Sure, they don't have a lot now, but they will soon.
  12. Hammer on chords: watch this video:link Vocals: 0:34 in this video:link
  13. GHWT. It has the music creator, The guitar controller isn't complete crap, the drumset is better, and several new in-game features (slide strip on guitar, hammer-on chords, etc.). Also: Crazy Train, Hot for Teacher, and the entire Death Magnetic Album=Win ^^^^ They announced just last week that you can make vocals in the music creator, you just can't add lyrics. There won't be lyrics scrolling across the screen when you play the song.
  14. AQUATRAXXXX!!!!!! Sorry I just had to say it.
  15. Surprisingly, for me it was the Thunderbolt at Kennywood, but only in the back seat. I had ridden countless times, but me and my friend rode it in the back seat for the first time this year, and were not expecting the insane ejector air on the first drop (this was after rain, not sure if it made a difference or not on the ride experience). It slammed us (and our jewels) into the buzz bar, but the first drop in the back seat was the only "crotch buster" ride I've ever had on it.
  16. For those who don't know, the new single entitled "The day that never comes" was released yesterday. I really like the sound of it, it reminds me of "Fade to Black" and their older songs. I think it's a huge improvement on St. Anger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UNfNpjWz-Y
  17. ^ Have you ever even been to Kennywood? They have some of the best amusement park food in the world, not "crap". Anyone who has actually been there would tell you that. The Potato Patch itself is known nationwide by coaster enthusiasts and GP alike. And yes, they do have a sit down buffet restaurant. Also, barely anyone I know pays the full $32 for admission, as you can buy tickets at Giant Eagle for I believe $19. I think the full $32 is worth it anyway, as Kennywood has a LOT to offer. They have several rides that you can't find many other places in the world(Turtles, Kangaroo just to name a few), as well as world class coasters that, IMO, rival Cedar Point's(except Millenium Force and Maverick, I'll give you that). And how can anyone not love Cheese and Bacon Fries??
  18. ^^ Yeah, I was thinking it will be a Gravity Group woodie with an elevator lift, but much larger than LoCoSuMo, as in the 100-200 foot range. Although when I try to picture it, the elevator lift seems to completely ruin the look of the coaster for some reason IMO, i just think wooden coasters look better with traditional lifts.
  19. I've heard they will start selling them on November 1. I definitely plan on getting one. Although I'm not sure if this is a good move for the park, as most of Kennywood's visitors are locals. If alot of people in Pittsburgh buy the season passes, Kennywood may end up losing money on this.
  20. Don't know if it has been mentioned or not, but according to rcdb the Beaver Land Mine Ride is going to a park in France for next year. Link
  21. I used to be, but my love for trains is what lead me to my love for coasters . I still remember a lot about trains, I just don't obsess over them as much anymore.
  22. Well after looking at the supposed new coaster site at WOF, and the layout of this coaster, I too must guess that this is WOF's 2009 GCI woodie.
  23. Wildcat at Hersheypark
  24. Today at Hersheypark in line for the Comet: "Fahrenheit was much more fun last year. It was enclosed in the dark and the car swung back and forth as it moved down the track." I think he thought that Fahrenheit is just the Western Chute Outs without enclosed slides
