I have a few weekends still free this year and was thinking about knocking one of the midwest parks out. If Valleyfair got Wild Thing reopened, I'll try to hit that park, otherwise I'll look at Worlds of Fun or some other place to go. The website mentions nothing about Wild Thing being closed, only that the Screaming Swing is down. Any locals know more about the status of Wild Thing?

What can it be?!

I heard that after Stealth broke, Nemesis Inferno was down, and there was a major power outage, the park asked Robb and all TPRers to please forget the park even existed. Thus Robb still hasn't done the update for that day, nor will he, because that day never happened. The fact that you still know about T----- Park means that there are a few leaks in the mindwipe. Don't be surprised if Scotland Yard comes knocking on your front door sometime soon.

It would be one thing to show up to a wedding and not give a gift, but if you show up to the reception, eat the food, drink the alcohol, enjoy the entertainment, I'm sorry, but you're a bum. If anyone gave me an ACE shirt or any tie dyed shirt for my wedding, I'd personally beat them down and let them use the shirt to clean off the blood.

That raises a good question. Exactly HOW does RCCA stay in business? They don't build that much, and what they build is pretty craptacular. I'm surprised they didn't go bankrupt before Vekoma did!

^I think the Drop Tower you're thinking of was the S&S Double Shot down at Playland Castaway Cove. The tower at Gillians is fairly new, within the last 2 years I believe, as I don't remember it being there before that. And yes, the airtime on the double shot is terrific. I wonder if S&S ever developed a larger version of it like the rumors were saying way back in the day.

^Oh yeah, I remember that! I'm not sure though, but I think Knoebels still had their Axis then, or had just gotten rid of it. In any event, I'm sure you're aware I skipped riding it at the pier.

If the people came to a hard sudden stop, they may have thought they were riding the Beast instead of his son! Hey, its Kings Island, I'm sure the people thought it was part of the ride, until the evac team came along.
